Um on Zekes sheet his Date of birth was supposed to be 2030 not 2040, sorry for the confusion if any was caused. It would be hard to be a Military Vet with ten years of service in his early 20's

One thing about Biomage: He has 4.65 essence, and 1 Bio Index, and yet he has 5 Magic. He should 4 (3).

Also, he's not in. The group is already at 7 people, and I didn't recieve him until Saturday, after the Friday deadline. However, after the first person drops out or dies, you'll be in. Assuming you hang around that long.

Keep in mind that you get to add essence and bio index together before rounding down the magic rating, so he would have a magic of 4, which could be raised to 5 with a single geas.

Oh, well I don't have MitS.

It's in the new M&M and the current erratta. You divide the bio-index by 2 and subtract it from essence. Bioware can now be geased.

Geasa are in MitS, though, so they're out

Officially, the rule for Bio Index and Essence is that Magic is reduced by Essence + HALF of Bio Index, rounding down to the nearest whole number. This is in M&M under BIOWARE AND THE AWAKENED, p. 78. If your book states that the full amount of Bio Index counts, it is an error that is contained in the errata listed both at Herkimer's Lair and the official Fanpro site for Shadowrun. With an essence of 4.65 and a Bio Index of 1 factored in, Biomage's Essence for determining Magic is effectively 4.15, which is then rounded to 4. I thought about using a Geas, but.. no. He has a Force 1 Power Focus to get his Magic up to 5(4).

I understand if I missed the Friday deadline. I actually forgot to send the e-mail until the next morning and was hoping to get it to you before you woke up. I guess you either checked the date sent or I was too late.
