I was reading my recently aquired Sprawler's Guide book and read something about a second goblinization. Then I read that this book talks about 2063. I missed about 3 years there. Is there a book that will bring me up to date on events in the Shadowrun world?

Year of the Comet will get you from 2059 to 2062 in the Metaplot along with Blood in the Boardroom getting you from 2058 to 2061 in the Corpoplot. Shadows of North America will give you the information to skip those two, but not so much of the how and why, just what. Threats 2 details certain events from YotC, but buying it before that book was a mistake (or rather, I just ended up buying YotC because of T2.)

Corporate Download would let you skip BitBR, and it's a nice book anyway.

Mob War and/or Underworld would catch you up on the syndicates, but niether is required if you have New Seattle which also gets you up to speed up to YotC madness.
