Outside:
The area described seems to be a pool of darkness deeper than the night itself about thirty meters past the van. Moving across the parking lot, Calisto is almost upon the tarp before she recognizes the tell tale shimmer of ruthenium stretched over something.
Leowulf
Biomage goes and picks up the other gun and examines it in the same manner.

I think there is a gun shop in this mall. The money I could get for these would help to cover our visit to Dr. Roth. Wren is probably dead. We'll have to question him here.

Biomage pockets the other gun and heads back into the mall, stopping to look at a directory and see if there is a gun shop anywhere inside. After checking the directory, he heads back to Dr. Roth's office.

"We need to wake him up," he says, "Wren is missing. This guy probably knows where he is."
Buddha72
Found something. Kneeling, Calisto begins to peel back the tarp.
BishopMcQ
Outside:
Pulling back the tarp, Calisto reveals a heavily modified racing bike and large duffel bag. The bag is open with a long rifle poking out of one end. It is the same matte finish and judging by the power of the scope could probably take a man down at a quarter of a mile. Next to the rifle is some assorted electronic gear and chips. A cell phone rests open on the motorcycle seat.
BishopMcQ
Calisto:
The cell phone is turned on but not sending a call at the moment. You quickly inventory the bag and carefully grab the phone off the bike taking care not to touch the bike itself due to the electro-shock system.

Scrolling through the call history, you see a call placed nearly ten hours ago to a number you recognize--Wren. The number appears to have been dialed around the time you were evac-ing the hangar and driving to the Crime Mall. There is an incoming call from an hour ago that you do not recognize.
Ecclesiastes
Trixie eyes the assassin as he is brought in with fear. She looks like she expects him to leap at her any minute.

Day 2 2100 Hours--Dr. Roth's Office

As the team begins to reassemble, Calisto comes in to the treatment room with a duffel bag tossed over one shoulder. A long-rifle sticks out the back end of the bag, partially covered by a large tarp with odd sensors attached at several points. Sensing the inevitable interrogation, the good doctor leaves after giving you instructions to clean up any messes you make and telling you how to bring the assassin out of his drug-clouded stupor.

"The drugs will give you about twenty minutes where he still has his long-term memory, but it is a little shaky on the here and now. He will remember who he is and what he was doing, but he won't know where he is or remember you later."

You can hear both trolls flop down into the remaining chairs in the waiting room, apparently non-plussed about getting the overtime.

Nothing spells terror like a partial amnesiac coming to and finding cold steel resting against his throat. As he swallows, the blade digs in just enough to get a thin trickle of blood down his throat.

"You're going to help us and answer a few questions or my friend here is going to hurt you worse than I can."

There is a pop, crackle and the smell of ozone as the Personal Comm unit explodes next to the assassin's face.

"Wh-what do you want? W-wait, you, you're with the girl."

His eyes dart across the room and he finds Trixie. Quickly he shifts his attention back to the woman with the sword as she appllies subtle weight reminding him of his imminent death if he doesn't cooperate.
Ecclesiastes
Trixie's eyes go wide in terror as he looks at her with recognition. Slowly she backs herself into the corner and sinks down into a ball. She rests her head on her knees and watches the proceedings nervously.
Leowulf
Shrugging at the strain his biomonitor now shows in his imagelink, Biomage casts a spell to analyze the truth of the assassin's words, to make sure the team isn't lied to.

I'll rest it off later.

To Callisto, he says, "I've got a truth spell on him. If he lies, I'll know. Find out where Wren is and who hired him to take us out. And why."
Buddha72
Calisto's face drains of anything resemble human emotion. "You heard the man, answer the questoins."
BishopMcQ
Team:
The assassin's voice comes out with a thick Russian accent but is understandable. He weary and obviously a little lost as to how he got inside this room.

"The elf was given a chance to pay for the treatment his daughter needs, I just gave him a credstick and an optical chip. I don't know what was on it. I received a contract, kill and recover, that contract got extended to run some errands out here...a suborbital ticket was included so I took the job."
Buddha72
"How did you receive the job?" Her voice is distant and deattached.
BishopMcQ
"Through my answering service. They take the call, deposit money in an offshore account and send the info to a dead-drop box. I pick up messages there from wherever I happen to be."

He seems to be fighting to clear his way free of the drugs and losing the battle.
Buddha72
"When and where was the last place you saw the elf you gave the chip to?" Calisto glances over at Trixie trying to look supportive but her face just comes across as muddled.
BishopMcQ
"Near my bike. He stole a car and left, must have been eight or so."
Ecclesiastes
Trixie gives a small nod. Enough to show she's ok. She then motions with a questioning look, pointing between herself and the assassin.
Buddha72
"What more do you know about his daughter and her treatment?" She turns and leaves the struggle behind of trying to be intimate.
BishopMcQ
"Nothing, just that the credstick was enough to pay for a cure. He was supposed to follow the instructions on the chip if he wanted it to work. I met him at the place he told me to."
Buddha72
"What info do you have concerning the girl?" Calisto gestures towards Trixie. "Where were you suppose to take her after she was acquired?"
BishopMcQ
"She's important, she knows something. I'm supposed to find her and the tribe. Give them information and wait. If I get the call, do nothing, otherwise kill them all."

He lists off the murders as if he was reading his grocery list, still fighting to clear his head but not willing to have it leave his shoulders.
Ecclesiastes
Trixie whispers, "Tribe?"
Buddha72
"What information?" Calisto turns to look at Trixie with a quizzical look.
Ecclesiastes
Trixie mouths Ask what Tribe.
Fenris
Jack nervously fidgets with Wren's phone during the interrogation, watching quietly as the man casually admits to preparing to murder several people, some of which were in the room at the moment.
Shadow
Jester continued his overwatch after everyone went inside. When there was one assassin, there were usually two.

The passenger compartment was sealed off from he drivers so he was as safe as the could be at the moment. Currently he was in his drone, basking in the night air as it circled the mall.
BishopMcQ
"An LTG address." He rattles it off, the grid seems to be located somewhere in Asia.
BishopMcQ
Jester:
The night air seems calm and quiet. The only vehicles nearby are Wren's sportscar, the assassin's motorcycle and the van guarding your own meatbody.
Buddha72
"What information did you have about the tribe?" Calisto's voice cracks sharp to hold his attention.
BishopMcQ
"None, just that she was an otaku and I'm supposed to find her and the tribe she works with."
Ecclesiastes
Trixie gets up and walks foward, a little uncharacteristic strength showing... "Have you found my Tribe yet?"
BishopMcQ
"Not yours, you are supposed to take me there."

The assassin breath is short and his eyes are glazed over from the medication.
Ecclesiastes
"What other Targets have you ... delt with?"
BishopMcQ
"I've killed three hundred and seventeen people to date."
Buddha72
"Have these contracts all come from the same source? Have you been killing only Otaku?"
BishopMcQ
"My contracts have been from hundreds of different people. I've been in this business for twelve years now. Only nine have been children like her."
Ecclesiastes
Trixie waits for him to answer the last question, then follows up with, "We're asking only about resent contracts. Say the last few months or so."
BishopMcQ
"I killed nine children a day an a half before we met in the parking lot. That contract was extended to come here."
Ecclesiastes
"Where they Otaku too? Where was the contract?"
BishopMcQ
"Moscow. They had cyberware to retrieve, base of their skull, a cylinder."
Ecclesiastes
Trixie looks both confused and as if she recognises something at the same time. "What can you tell us about the cyberware?"
BishopMcQ
"It was a small cylinder, fit in my closed hand, filaments ran deeper into the brain but I cut them loose when I pulled the ware free."
Buddha72
Calisto turns towards Trixie. "Do you know what ware he's speaking of?"
Ecclesiastes
"No. But I want to find out... Do you have anymore samples of the cyberware?"
BishopMcQ
"No, I gave them to the contact I had."
Ecclesiastes
"Who was the contact?"
BishopMcQ
"Male, nineteen, European, spoke mostly in French or maybe Italian. I don't know his name."
Ecclesiastes
"Where do you meet him? How do you contact eachother?"
BishopMcQ
"I met him in Moscow, he called me and told me where to be."
Ecclesiastes
Trixie looks disappointed at not getting to track those things down, then with a start she realized how she had stepped up and taken change of the interrigation. She blushes and gives Calisto a small smile, then takes a few steps back and lets her take over.
Buddha72
Taking the cell phone, Calisto pulls up the number she doesn't know and holds it where he can see it. "What number is this?"
