When someone refers to MITS or GECKS for character generation.
What does the Abbreviations for each mean?
Secondly where can I obtain these methods? IE which Source books.

MiTS - Magic in the Shadows
Gecks, proper spelling BECKS - an alternative character creation method that is not Canon.

Magic in the Shadows isn't a character generation method, it's a sourcebook. BeCKS on the other hand, is built in to the NSRCG, a computer-based character generator you can download from
matrix.dumpshock.com/mcmackie.

A GECK would be a Garden of Eden Creation Kit, which would allow you to build an entire civilization out of a suitcase (but not generate characters). Sadly, GECKs are from an entirely different game.

GECK from Fallout I and II and Brother hood of steel.
Now the MITS, would be in line with Geas , Ritual Magic, Anchoring and Spirts.
I have not completely read MITS, But there is not much on Character Creation.

Well there is a lot in there about creating a magical character...or rather ideas when creating magical characters.

Yep, I see I have read some more in the MITS and I see what concepts there are.
IE Wujen,Tatoo magic and Druidism.
Thanks for all your in put.
