I had a player ask a few questions about their ally spirit. I was doing good until the question come up about them getting totem modifiers. My first thought is that it makes sense since the mage shapes the spirit and in essence, is made by their magic. The game has established the mage's viewpoint colors there magic i.e. Psionics, etc.

Any help or suggestions?

Allies don't get totem modifiers. No spirit does.

Is this from MiTS? I have mine loaned out to a player at the moment.

No. It's just that nowhere does any spirit get totem bonuses. If it were a special power for allies, it would be mentioned.
