It is a french translation of Becks.

It give credit to TSS, explain this is one of the best creation system, best vs munchkins, etc.

I haven't read the zip file so I can't judge the quality of the translation.

Jérémie: BeCKS may be a good system, but it is an awfully munchkinizable system. I have seen more utterly broken characters come out of it than any other chargen system thus far. Not so much that there haven't been some scary things from other systems, but in BeCKS you no longer just have to be scary at one thing.

Bertrand and myself intended to put the drake creation rules in French in the file, but we couldn't get an answer from Bethyaga or anyone else from the BeCKS v2 crew... Be sure we'll add them as soon as we can grab them in our little greedy hands.

The fact that you can get two skills of rating 4 for under the cost of a single rating 6 skill means that you can have jacks-of-all-trades running around (because the difference between four and six dice is usually pretty small) being pretty good at everything without having to sacrifice maybe one or two skills of rating 6. I had a character in a game made with BeCKS once that looked like he was going to make all the other specialists except the mage obsolete, as while he couldn't do anything quite as well as they could he could do it almost as well and then more besides. BeCKS might make more sense if everyone in a game uses it, but it still churns out, in my opinion, more powerful characters than the other systems.
