The bodyguard is still down, the opposition is near, and the spirit is fighting fiercly. At this, Lycon smiles and reaches for his stun baton, eyes on the enemy and readying himself for a fight. As Phoenix dashes forward, Lycon leaps ahead as well, intent on aiding his spirit, but watching for opportunities as they arise.

Eddie swears softly to himself, watching the scene play out. He double checks for anything which could identify the chopper any more uniquely than anything he's already noticed.

In other words, perception test on the chopper.

Fox: It was a tricky jump. A moving vehicle, rain, it's dark. All things considering, you did well. You managed to grab one of the struts (OOC: is that their name?) with both hands, but your gun hand slipped almost immediately and it was something of an achievement to simply avoid dropping your gun. Your other hand is slipping on the strut as well. On the plus side you don't imagine they noticed. The fight that's broken out in the yard would have been some distraction. And if worse comes to worse, the fall won't hurt too much...

Eddie: Hmm. Ares Dragon perhaps? It's a little hard to tell. If it is it's been heavily modified. More armour for a start and it's got better handling. The HMG on the nose isn't the only weapon either; a pair of lighter guns (LMGs perhaps) are mounted on the stubby excuses for stabiliser wings. The thing is making a beeline for the yard.

Everyone else: Angelus's arrow cuts through the rain, literally leaving a trail of displaced water behind it. The arrow streaks in past the butt of the man's gun, striking him just below the elbow. He utters a sort of bitten off scream and falls to his knees, dropping his gun. All at once the goons move into action. Of the remaining 7 (OOC: sorry about misleading numbers - there are 6 goons there, plus the weird one, plus the wounded one, plus the captured one), 4 of them immediately raise their weapons in the direction of Angelus and Eddie, whilst the remaining 3, including the weird one, face Lycon and Phoenix. The weird one has a positively predatory smile on his face...

Lycon & Phoenix: The strange looking man suddenly leaps towards you, his hands thrown out towards you. He doesn't throw anything, at least nothing visible, but you can feel waves of energy battering you. You immediately recognise it as a stunball.

(OOC: Fox's turn)

"AGH!" moans Phoenix as the stunball's energy waves crackle and smash into him. He's knocked around but not nearly as bad as he figured it would be.

"That's it omae, you just made the shit list" becomes his new thought as he zeroes in on the perpetrator of his rather huge headache.

Not one to miss such a chance, Lycon takes this opportunity to announce, "I win the run!" and then spontaneously ceases to exist along with everyone else in that branch of reality.

A dark figure steps from the shadows, looking around intently. "Oh, that's the way it would seem to you, old friend." His insane cackling fills the dreary night with terror, before Eddie too disappears.
