Like several people, I've been noticing DS's clock has been all over the place recently. Do we know what's causing this?
Fortune
It's caused by a Mana Spike. It is definitely a harbinger of the forthcoming Awakening.

No. It's a sign that the Crash of '29 is coming early.

Shouldn't we at least change the name, then?

It's my Flux Capacitor. Sorry.
DrJest
Ah, that explains... hang on, e-mail... Echo who? Uh... be right back...

Nah! It's Magic, I tell ya! Too early for the crash. wink.gif

The Crash of '29 is what it is called in the Shadowrun timeline. Thanks to hahnsoo's flux capacitor antics, our own timeline has been altered and the Crash is coming this year.

Might get a better response if you tried posting in the Bug Reports section. Just a thought.
DrJest
Never really noticed the Bug Reports section - always looked straight to SR discussion or Welcome to the Shadows smile.gif

Better? Maybe.

More informative? Probably.

More entertaining? Hell no! rotfl.gif
Fresno Bob
I don't think I'd mind Goblinizing into a Troll.

I'd be muscle-y, intimidating, and big(ger) in the pants.
DrJest
And without the annoying life-expectancy issues of the later generations smile.gif
Fresno Bob
Damn straight.

Hmm, I'll need to find some suitably stretchy underpants in case I Goblinize in public...
DrJest
I don't know, there's a cerain je ne sais quoi to Goblinising into a Troll in public as long as you remember to shout "HULK SMASH PUNY HUMANS!" as soon as you stop writhing around eek.gif
Fresno Bob
Oh, I'm fine with UGEing in public, but I don't want to suddenly be naked. I mean, the Hulk has the decency to at least keep hot pants.
DrJest
You gotta wonder how that works... I mean, even with comic-book physics...

No, enough! i need sleep, dammit, I'm unwell!

But I swear I didn't know! How was I supposed to know that downloading ROMs from vintage PSP games in the future would load the Crash Virus onto my PocketPC, then spread it across the world on a Bluetooth network?

Am I the only one who were tempted to register "Saeletra" as a forum nick and reply to this with the words:

Good morning world. Welcome back. Play nice.

Strange, but quite un-nerving when you look at the time of post and it's telling me I should have just got back from work, in some cases I shouldn't have got up yet?
help I don't want to do today again!

tried changing it but it will not respond to my fiddling....... hmm hammer might do it??

DrJest
Guuuuhh.,. Yeah, the welcome back message brainburned into Fastjack in 2011.

...Not as much as I though I would be. I was hoping for magical powers, to be honest. Although I can still join the circus.

Yep, time is all over the place. That sort of things happens with these old Type 40 capsules. The chameleon circuit is held together with bubble gum. That's why they are having a fund raiser for equipment upgrade.

That's why the Hulk was always so pissed off. That's one hell of an atomic wedgie he ran around with.

but funny anyway lol!

Nikoli
I dunno, everything but the pants rip, he can't be that "incredible"
Sammiel
all the various little hulk references have made me cry from laughter. rotate.gif
Fresno Bob
Well, all that increased body mass has to come from somewhere.

Maybe Bruce Banner is really the 'incredible' one.

The clock that logs the time of your post.

And just remember, it's all fun and games, unless you're a movie theater staffer who has to clean up after a Rocky Horror midnight showing.

Shovels and Leaf Blowers. I'm dead serious.
Fresno Bob
I don't doubt it.
RunnerPaul
Of course, depending on the venue, they may let you volunteer to help clean up, afterwards, which usually earns you an invite to the post cleanup party where everyone gets blitzed.

I feel sorry for you. I sat in on one of those cult fan showings of it and was near blown out of my seat when the first theatrics began.
Fresno Bob
I used to watch that movie all the time a few years ago. I saw it again recently, and all I could think was "Man...what the hell was I thinking?"
Crimson Jack
I always think, "Man, what the hell was the director thinking?"

biggrin.gif
Fresno Bob
Thats an understandable sentiment.
RunnerPaul
To this day, Richard O'Brien and the rest of the crew involved in making the film insist that they didn't intentionally leave gaps in the dialogue and songs for the audience callback lines, but some are just so perfect that you have to wonder:

So Come up to the lab
And see what's on the slab
I see you shiver with antici-...

pause
This movie would suck without audience partici-
-pation!

Of course, having direct experience with working at a campus dollar theater that had showings one weekend each semester, I turned around an applied that to my Shadowrun Campaign: One game, the plot centered around someone who'd doctored a copy of the Simsense Remake, turning the regular simsense chips into personafixes. The poor audience actually thought they were Brad and Janet et. al., so you can imagine the chaos that lead to. My players still won't talk about what happened to the guy who got stuck thinking he was Eddie.
Fresno Bob
Thats just a mean thing to do to people.
Smiley
That gives me a fabulous idea...

DocMortand
I still have only seen bits and pieces of it - and the bits and pieces made me stop watching pretty quickly - it just was wayy too wierd for me.

I feel sorry for anyone being forced to live that...
