Like several people, I've been noticing DS's clock has been all over the place recently. Do we know what's causing this?
Fortune
Mar 7 2005, 09:12 PM
It's caused by a Mana Spike. It is definitely a harbinger of the forthcoming Awakening.

The Crash of '29 is what it is called in the Shadowrun timeline. Thanks to hahnsoo's flux capacitor antics, our own timeline has been altered and the Crash is coming this year.

Might get a better response if you tried posting in the
Bug Reports section. Just a thought.

Never really noticed the Bug Reports section - always looked straight to SR discussion or Welcome to the Shadows

Better? Maybe.
More informative? Probably.
More entertaining? Hell no!

I don't think I'd mind Goblinizing into a Troll.
I'd be muscle-y, intimidating, and big(ger) in the pants.

I don't know, there's a cerain je ne sais quoi to Goblinising into a Troll in public as long as you remember to shout "HULK SMASH PUNY HUMANS!" as soon as you stop writhing around
Fresno Bob

But I swear I didn't know! How was I supposed to know that downloading ROMs from vintage PSP games in the future would load the Crash Virus onto my PocketPC, then spread it across the world on a Bluetooth network?
Am I the only one who were tempted to register "Saeletra" as a forum nick and reply to this with the words:

Yep, time is all over the place. That sort of things happens with these old Type 40 capsules. The chameleon circuit is held together with bubble gum. That's why they are having a fund raiser for equipment upgrade.

And just remember, it's all fun and games, unless you're a movie theater staffer who has to clean up after a Rocky Horror midnight showing.

Of course, depending on the venue, they may let you volunteer to help clean up, afterwards, which usually earns you an invite to the post cleanup party where everyone gets blitzed.

To this day, Richard O'Brien and the rest of the crew involved in making the film insist that they didn't intentionally leave gaps in the dialogue and songs for the audience callback lines, but some are just so perfect that you have to wonder:
So Come up to the lab
And see what's on the slab
I see you shiver with antici-...
pause
This movie would suck without audience partici-
-pation!
Of course, having direct experience with working at a campus dollar theater that had showings one weekend each semester, I turned around an applied that to my Shadowrun Campaign: One game, the plot centered around someone who'd doctored a copy of the Simsense Remake, turning the regular simsense chips into personafixes. The poor audience actually thought they were Brad and Janet et. al., so you can imagine the chaos that lead to. My players still won't talk about what happened to the guy who got stuck thinking he was Eddie.
