I wanted to know if there is any form of maps for the US so i know what is going on with Wisconsin, because I'm thinking about running in Milwaukee since it's so close to Chicago.

Download Wordman's map. It's spectacular.

I know at least in my copy of the main SR3 book there's a map in the first couple of pages of the book. I think Wikipedia has a world map of the sixth world on it as well.

Edit: Whoops, too slow.
Blackout
Right but I'm looking to see if there is anything on Wisconsin as well, such as do the bugs live there, who is in power or if i would be creating it which is fine as well.
Blackout
Thanks for the map as well, very nice. Do any of you know of any printed material on Wisconsin?
Paul
Check the NeoAnarchists Guide to North America, and Target UCAS first, then Shadows of the Underworld. I know there is mention of the Don that runs the area, and something else-I thought it was abou DeVries, but I could be wrong.

Target: Smuggler Havens and Shadows of North America have information on Wisconsin. T:SH has the most of the two. Underworld Sourcebook might also have some information on the Don Leo McCaskill of Milwaukee (who took over O'Toole Family operations for the Commissione after Capo Don Jim O'Toole of Chicago died after gettting stuck behind the Wall). It's all on page 33. NAGNA has nothing. Target: UCAS has a little because of the effect on it from Chicago nothing.

Thanks, I'll have to look into those. I think i have the underworld book, but not the rest.

Well, against all common sense, I think Milwaulkee (I could be wrong, it might have been St. Louis) is where the midwest Mafia dons make their home. After Chicago was closed off, power sort of devolved to there. I guess Detroit is too hard for the mob to do big business in 'cause of Ares.

Well, the axis of the US also shifted when it became the UCAS. There's a lot more northern territory with what little is left of Canada that didn't become the Algonkian-Manitou council and Trans-polar Aleut, so Milwaukee isn't nearly as much of a "border town" as it used to be in the 20th century.

Because Madison is a major smuggler stopover with Chicago gone. The Don of Milwaukee controls Chicago operations while The Greek (Don of Detroit) is busy controlling the smuggling racket into Quebec.

Milwaukee also used to be a major industrial city back in the 1940's 50's and 60's with huge corps like Briggs and Stratton and the Falk Corperation doing all kinds of heavy industry stuff.

I would think that when the US lost numerous industrial centers in other parts of the NAN and Cali places like Milwaukee would be revitalized- it would have to be....

Not to mention the influx of European peoples displaced by the NAN.

I think Milwaukee would be a pretty interesting place by 2064-5.

(its also where they brew miller highlife... need I say more?) biggrin.gif

Excepting Cali... What industrial centers? The western U.S. isn't exactly known for its large manufacturing base.

Well for those that wonder why I am running here these are my reasons.

1.First off I'm from Detroit and I ran Shadowrun Detroit because the group knew the city hence I know want to run Milwaukee because these group would know it as well giving them a familiar feel.

2. Chicago was Bug City and even though Aries supposedly wiped them out, some of them had to move somewhere and there is a Tram line and sewer lines that run all the way from Chicago to here.

3. In real life Milwaukee has seen more serial killers than most states ever have so something is in the water...or was it a comet? ::smiles all sinister::

4. Milwaukee is full of the mob in real life so you can just guess what it would be like in 2062.

5. Milwaukee is Segregated big time! South Milwaukee is full of Hispanic gangs, north if hoodlums, downtown corps and a huge federal building and last but not least the east side religious groups up the wah zoo!

6. We are next to a lake, forest to the north and a huge city to the south. I mean come one its full of places to run adventures.

7. The building in Milwaukee range from beautiful to down right blashpmous. Tall and small alike.

8. Lets not forget the large native American reservations out here mean some wicked shamans and mages.

Lastly its about time someone get some source out for the damn x gaming capital!::chuckles::
Plus the story I have lined up is going to be a blast!
