Okay, Dark Horse will pop a couple of caps into the spirit for no effect...
The spirit will assess the situation and launch itself at Wing in melee.
If Wing could roll rea+unarmed+1 (it's charging) please.

Sorry for the delay, I've been rubbish with remembering to do the rolls when I'm near the machine...
Wing will be attempting to keep the spirit occupied whilst somebody kills it with magics...

Tempting to get back into the action.
However, with three of us plus Toad-Beast at the top of the stairs, all I can see us doing is clumping up into a sweeter area effect target.
I mean, Ophis, can we see whether there is even enough physical space for us to get onto the second floor landing?
And since they've wounded it but are not getting creamed, reckon I will can wait out another three-second combat turn and see how things go.
That said, if there is an IC call for assistance, I will be right there.
So here is initiative for if that happens. 8 initiative

Based on past stuff - which I need to go back and review - I am not taking my eyes off Jun unless I find myself desperately needed elsewhere. From bottom of stairs, even if they call me, I probably won't go up unless I see that there is enough space for me to actually get through and fight the spirit.
If I do go up, I will tell JW not to take his eyes off of her, although I obviously can't say any more than that (or can I even say that much?).

Space on the stairs seems to be at a premium I will admit, but your not sure how tight it is up there. Plus you can always ready an action.

Apologies, I've been crap again and busy with other stuff...
Wing needs to roll 2*Unarmed and reaction for defense(I'm presuming full defense. +1 as Darkhorse will join the Melee.
Flat can declare please, the spirit may have hurt Wing a little but I kinda doubt it. After that I'll need a spell casting from Toobit.
Oh with Darkhorse moving into melee there is room on the stairs if anyone else wants to get involved.

Okay, my previous declaration said I was holding at the bottom of the stairs, but I've been talking with pragma (nothing forbidden), and it looks like he's going to watch Jun and ask Flat to move up and engage.
So once that happens (JW goes before Flat), I will indeed go up.
Katana's already out, so I'll just head up and start hacking. Here is my roll assuming two friends in melee and one reach. If there are penalties for the close quarters, just lop them off the right end as usual.
Att + Skill + Spec + friends + reach + focus = 14 dice

pragma, did you move a comma when you edited your last IC, or did I just read it wrong.
I wouldn't have gone against your suggestion by taking Jun upstairs - I thought your last IC read to the effect that Jun and the rest of us should go upstairs, and I was just going along. Then I reread, and looking at the punctuation more clearly saw that you intended for Jun to stay downstairs (which would have been fine, but Flat probably would've stayed as well....).
Anyway, just didn't mean to step on your toes.

I did move a comma, JW was suggesting keeping Jun at the stairs and out of the line of fire. But JW is willing to do it either way, especially if Flat thinks the girl is worth worrying about. He's come to the conclusion (so far) that she's pretty harmless.
Don't worry about toe stepping, no harm done.

Well, hmmm, are you in Europe or somewhere that you say ground floor and then first floor?
What I mean is the second floor, like, as in go up the first flight of steps and there you are on the second floor...
I think JW and Flat cleared the 1st/ground floor, while the rest of the team headed up to the 2nd/1st floor and got stalled by a big firefight and nasty spirit at the top of the stairs. Supposedly the people we are trying to rescue may be up beyond the top of the stairs in the rooms all those gun-toting cultists were coming out of.
Unless I have it totally wrong, which is totally possible.
