Allocating spell defense dice is a free action. Once used, spell defense dice are lost until the magician's next combat turn. Pool dice do not refresh until the next combat turn
|
You allocate the number of dice for spell defense and the people to be defended. If they are attacked by a spell you roll your defense dice for them.

Os will rely on the cover and not dodge. I assume the wall between Os and the gunner will act as a barrier in some way, right?
Frater Inominatus
Jul 5 2005, 12:24 PM
Yes, but my rolls weren't even good enough to hit you without cover penalties so you're good.

Just so we're clear, what sort of area are we in. Residential, industrial? I can only imagine what it must be like to wake up at 11 pm to a mass firefight involving a VTOL aircraft.

Definitely residential. This used to be a nice neighborhood. The houses were built as a suburban area. Unfortunately, the city grew to fast to accomodate and it fell out of favor with the well-to-do. The houses are spaced a good fifty meters apart, separated by run down three rail fences.
The safe house sits on the back of a two acre lot on West Lake Way. The house is a modest Tudor with a detached, two-car garage just behind and to the South of the main house. The lawn is about a week over due for cutting and leaves from the hedges lining the drive litter the way leading up to the house. The off-white vinyl siding shows serious signs of age. The roof, however, looks in good repair, though the gutters are in need of cleaning. All in all things look quiet from the outside. To the North and South are similar houses, in similar conditions. To the West, across about ten meters of lawn sits a light forested area. Though light, the forest could easily obscure an approach to the house.
The drive is about twenty meters long on the south edge of the property. Here's my first attempt at a map...
It wasn't pretty.
That didn't turn out too well...

If so, here's ini for next turn.

Yeah, I kinda lost control there. Here's what I want you to do. Let's post all of your actions for a single round (all passes) in a single post. For example:
Os
[ Spoiler ]
Initiative 16
Wound Level: None
Action 1
Run for safehouse. Quickness 6 Athletics 4 (5,3,2,1)
Action 2
Shoot ganger from doorway. Ares Predator 9M, smartlinked. Pistols 5 (11,5,3,2)
I can then post the results for the entire combat round in a single post.

I am having internet problems at the moment. My office got struck by lightening, took out our internet router. should be fixed Friday. But till then, limited internet access.
(I had to get a library card in order to post here.)
If its alright with F.I I'll stipulate additional Combat round posts in case I am absent he can assume Gregori will take the following action:
Free Action: Spell Defense Dice 3 Gregori 3 Dawn
Simple Action 1: Take cover
Simple Action 2: Take cover

I gotta put ya'll on notice for whats about to come our way in the gulf of mexico. I'm in the forcasted path of Hurricane Dennis and while we don't know what its going to do, I've been through enough hurricanes to know that it anin't good. So after saturday night I might not post for a while due to lack of power, and pray to God not because my house got blown away.
Prayers are justy needed for my area. Its been good playing with you and hopefully this will blow over and turn out to be nothing.

It is Dawns' move at the moment. She yelled a the ganger to stop and he didn't. If there's no response by monday I will assume she does nothing and move on.

I took that to mean 'when rigging', to prevent uber-riggers who have got rediculous initiatives by stacking their VCR w/ their adept power or whatever.

Sorry, if you read the entire passage it is pretty clear that it applies to anyone driving. It's what makes riggers the street sam of vehicles.

Sorry guys,
My internet connection is going to be spotty for the next little while. The powers that be seem to think that I need to go to Georgia. This in and of itself isnt a bad thing except I have dial-up and there are no local number for the company I have service with in the po-dunk town I am being sent to. Here's to good fortune...

I am also in a Podunk Georgia town, is the reason I ask.
Assuming you mean Georgia, CAS, not Georgia, ancestral home of Stalin.
