Eh, I like the chunky gun. But then I tend to like oversized weapons in general, so perhaps that's just my Otaku (as in... anime fan, not technomancer) speaking. Besides, maybe she's short/small in general and therefore the gun looks oversized in her hand.

...My former Otaku, Akima Naru, used the Eichiro Hatimoto as her firearm. By it's description in CC it sounded like a very big piece for a handgun since it fired shotgun slugs.

...just went through the gallery. Looking at Pixie again, I am tempted with sending the details on "Sailor Star" (Akima Naru), my never played anime loving Technomancer/ex-Otaku.

Jumping around a bit here, but here is El Fenrir's Vil in a quick sketch form, rough and dirty at this stage. Will it work Mr. Fenrir? Is the combat axe too big?

El fenrirs Vil Sketch

...cool, you got the ciggie...

Personally, I like the combat axe, maximum "cleavage".

Doing a prelim sketch is a good way to go. Could you do the same with Tomoe?

Ahh, Im here! Was away for a couple days. :)

Hmm..me do likey! The axe isnt too big, worry not...to me, the combat axe is supposed to look like a large piece of death. :D

I like his expression alot. The slightly dark rings under the eyes work well for him. :)

The gun is cool too. Though I might make the barrel a LITTLE longer(doesnt have to be much though, he does use a wide array of firearms).

But yeah, i cant wait to see him inked! Thumbs up from me. :grinbig:

Cool, I'm gonna ink this dood up and slap it up here soon.

Edit:

El Fenrir's Vil

I threw in a background, hope it all turned out to your liking.

Quick question for you El Fenrir, would you mind if I offered this image to Sphynx for use in his project: SOTA: 2065?

I'm not sure if he could use it or not, but I think I may try incorporating more characters into these other projects. It will turn out better images and I think it will benefit all involved.

Oh yes, it did very much! :D

Really like the extras the inking did, like the worn look to the axe, and the picture fits Vil to a T. Does him great justice, he's one of my favorite SR creations.

And the SOTA project looks very cool, too...so its cool with me if you use him. :) If you need anything else for it let me know.

I love that picture you did i thought it was great I was wondering if you can do me another.

http://www.bardic.nl/catalog/product_thumb....jpg&w=93&h=120

Above is the picture that I use currently. I love the girl and her features but need to bring her up to the year 2070. She is part hacker and part smuggler. Could you possibly draw a picture of my charater modelled on the one above.

Cheers

This is great! I also am willing to do art for those interested. You can preview my work in the srartgroup under Ratchaser. I've been away for a long-time and just popped in to see all the beautiful work being done and then checked here to see that the community has embraced this wholeheartedly! I think it's wonderful and I will even submit a character or two to see Squinky's take on them. Keep up the great work. Squinky: would you prefer a new thread? I got all excited and don't want to step on any toes. Whatcha think?

Awesome work Squinky!

Here to add to the queue:

Here's the character I'm gonna play in Dog's next campaign which is a Cyberpirates campaign with low-power characters. The character's a medical college dropout from Haiti. He's an physical adept following a very strange way, the healer's way. He got himself a lot of troubles when he left home, leaving a promising career as a surgeon. He made various enemies here and there and ended up stranded on an island in the Caribbean for a while as a punishment from a pirate gang. He was eventually rescued by the captain of a small boat who was retreating to the island to take care of a nasty wound. The irony of finding a black man alone on a island earned him the nickname "Friday".

Name: Friday
Description: A haitian guy, early 30's, wearing a "Thank God it's Friday" t-shirt. He smokes cigarettes, loves rhum, and has a couple voodoo charms on him. His favourite weapon is a remington roomsweeper (or any kind of sawed-off shotty). Optionally, he could be wearing a lab coat/doctor's garb if you think it would look good but still with his signature t-shirt. A medkit and other medical stuff (patches, syringes, a saw, etc.) would be nice around him.

And as always, I leave the rest to your creativity...

Peace! and thanks in advance...

...considering this is Squinky's Gallery "Sticky", I would say begin a new thread.

hmmm... with all the artists showing up on DS as of late, I could almost see an SR Gallery Forum. This way the art threads don't get pushed down in the queue and eventually disappear from sight

...Mods?

I really feel a need for a character portrait for this character, but I can't even begin to draw (my hands suck, can't even make a straight line) I will have to humbly request a character portrait. </begging>

My character is a troll wolf shaman, who goes by the name "Nighteyes." He lives in the barrens, and has connections with a local gang, who come to him when they need healing, which he provides cheap. He is a rather large, muscular troll, with horns that curve back over his head before coming up in points, somewhat resembling a wolf's ears. he has a nasty scar over his throat, which gives him a whispery, gravelly voice. He wears an armor jacket that's made to look like animal hide, and always carries his weapon focus spear, a weapon with a thick haft and a very long blade. he also usually has his shotgun and his warhawk, though these need not be visible in the portrait.

Good backdrops for him would either be some scene in the barrens, or maybe meditating at his shamanic lodge, which is in a small shack in the barrens.

I would be incredibly grateful for this.

Sounds pretty cool.

Murphy's Law now dictates that Squinky will finish the portrait and post it during the game in which Nighteyes gets geeked.

He's one of my better characters, so even if he dies an ignominious death, I'll probably keep him and possibly reuse him later. but thanks for the jinx! </sarcasm>

Just letting you all know I am still here. Probably gonna forgo any Dumpshock art the next couple days, been fiddling with Missions and some other stuff lately, and truthfully, I haven't been feeling like drawing when I get home from work latley, sorry all.

Anyways though, when I hit it hard again this weekend I will try to get more going on:

Cazazil's Tattoo that I have forgotten about repeatedly
Kyoto's Drawing and/or Emo's Drawing.

Hope thats cool and sorry again that I don't crank these out faster.

no worries chummer. After all, it's not like we're paying for this. I have one rule, and that's never complain about what someone's giving you for free. Unless it's a scorpion or something.

Character and NPC drawings by my girlfriend (Hani Saunders):

Here is a drawing of one of the NPCs in the campaign I run for her, an NPC Dwarf Demolition Specialists (in everyday gear).

Here is a SURGED young girl called Nejala (pronounced Ne-Ya-La), with some T'skrang SURGE-features.

Here is another dwarf, Geoffery, the bartender in her character's favorite hangout.

Here is a female Human mage, in a semi-traditional outfit, not a specific PC or NPC in this campaign but rather a character concept she was toying with.

...Just did another take on your pic of Leela after reading through the New Gear the SR3R Way thread and associated links. Came across some RL images of Gyrojet pistols & rifles. I didn't realise the pistol was that compact. I always envisioned it to be larger, somewhere in between a heavy magnum and Grenade pistol in size since it fires a rocket propelled round.

Great job on her (and my) favourite sidearm.

Thanks Kyoto!

Here is my sketch for Emo Samurai's Character. I like most all of what I have going on here, but still am unsure of how to mix the black and white on the suit (I get a bad feeling that it will end up looking like a cow).

Anyways, here it is for approval before inks. Thanks Emo.

Hmmm... Make it look like a folded fractal. You could design your own one, or it could look like this.

He looks a little older than I'd imagined, but then again, he's, like, uber-dignified and serious.

Cool.
