Nice. Means all we need to blend in is to take some clothes, throw them in a dryer with some dirt and a few pairs of boots, let it run for a few days to artificially wear them a little, and we should be able to throw them on over the chameleon suits and blend in.
Edit: Though them being locals means they're more likely to notice someone that they don't recognize, if they were to see through the Concealment. Assuming that you successfully notice someone who's being Concealed, would you be aware that something was interfering with your senses? |

My thought would be sneak onto the base so we can carry whatever we want in, and once we arrive have the Chameleon suits shift to showing normal worker clothes, and then just turning off that program when its time to be sneaky again. The place is under construction, and we will have pass keys, etc. carrying boxes around with our stuff in them shouldn't be hard (unusual), and we'd still be under concealment 10. If people see through the concealment well, we look like we belong, if they don't then they aren't a problem. Chameleon suits won't quite work like that I'm afraid. Even if we programmed them with a skin image of the workers uniforms they're still figure hugging suits and won't convince anyone they're geniune (unless they Azzies worker uniforms are skin tight...). They're only really meant for keeping people from seeing you completely, rather than acting as high tech disguises. But I agree that stealth is the best option by far, smuggling some kit in and keeping it light and sneaky. Speaking of which, I think two silencers maybe in order for Etoile's pistols and indeed for any other guns people plan on taking. Edit - Think we could get someone elses worn overalls to wear? The additional DNA traces will help confuse anyone trying to find us if we have to ditch them and go for full on stealth. |

DWC: Yes it would make noticing new people but the Azzie's are bring in specialist so it's not to hard. With the concealment if there not awakened to see the astral then they see you or the don't they will have no idea that you are bing concealed.
Oenone & shalimar: right the suit would be skin tight. It would be better to have the cloths over the suit. I would have a thermite bar and burn the cloths so there would be no traces. Yeah Silencers would be a good idea. |

The thing is burning the suits while trying to sneak off only draws attention to where you are. Personally I'd throw them into the water and let the Azzies fetch them from somewhere downriver.
I'd previously assumed about the need for suits on over the top, think I put one on Etoiles want list. Which I've now updated to be as follows. 1. Legal Industrial Mechanic skillsoft the higher the rating the better, preferably with pluscode to reduce the space it needs to 1. 2. Uniform for the facility with insulation upgrade. 3. Chameleon suit with Thermal Damping upgrade at rating 6. (And if possible chemical protection filling up the remaining slots) 4. Fake SIN with appropriate licenses to support the cover story we're using. 5. Toolbox with Industrial Mechanic tools in, plus shielded compartment to hide two light pistol sized weapons in. 6. Two Silencers for the model of Pistol she owns. Ideally ceramic if at all possible. 7. Jammer, hand-held - Anti MAD. From RC P34-35 Highest rating possible. 8. Gecko Tape Gloves. 9. A Vacuum Seal and Ares Low Intensity Laser. (Or just the use of it before we go in, so we can plastic wrap our gear.) 10. Medkit Rating 6 plus supplies. That should be everything. She does want a heavy weapon and some bombs too, but I think that'd be pushing it slightly. Edit - @Brent - Anything on that list they can't supply or would want back afterwards? Aside from the Skillsoft and the Jammer it's mostly cheap and easy to obtain stuff. |

Nope you can get all of that and keep it.
Right with burning it, but the nice thing with thermite is you can burn it underwater. |

What ratings for the anti-mad jammer, Fake SIN and Skillsoft can they provide?
(And the vacuum seal if they're letting us keep it.) |

They can get all of them at rating 6 or less. Yes they will get a vacuum seal and let you keep it. You talking about a food saver type vacuum sealer?

Erm... The one from Runners Companion, about the same page ref as the Anti-Mad Jammer.
It's a vacuum packing machine which coats upto rating x kilograms worth of stuff in air tight plastic. |

At a rating of 6, it's probably closer to what surgical devices are packaged in prior to being irradiated and shipped.

The quality of the packing doesn't vary by rating. It only changes the volume you can do at once.

We could use clean backup SIN's for exfil' if we have to burn the ones we use for the infiltration.
-edit- I could use a similar toolbox if I'm going to bring the Ingram. I bought the Urban Explorer Jumpsuit with Chameleon Coating for exactly this sort of mission. It looks like any other manual labourer's work clothes and the Ruthenium Polymer can re-brand it any way you like when you ain't skulking about the shop. |

I would have thought the Industrious Line from Arsenal was the sort of thing labourers would wear? The Urban Explorer Jumpsuit seems more suited to people into sports than those doing actual work.

I've always envisioned it to be more like overalls or the sort of flight-suit fast jet pilots wear over their G-suits. Or the sort of 'romper-suit' arrangement people wear for sky-diving. Regardless, Gecko's has been chosen for being cut and styled like the sort of utilitarian one-piece that a manual labourer, handyman or janitor might wear.

I'm fine one way to the other no reason for the lines don't do both styles. But as an FYI G-suits go over the flight suit not under. I'm my Navy days I was an Aircrew Survival Equipmentman (PR) I worked on all the Aircew flight gear including the flight suit and g-suit.

Added the stuff to the copy of Etoiles sheet I have on my machine.
Not bothering to add the workmans uniform or the fake SIN however. As I suspect they're best destroyed afterwards regardless of the outcome. Everything they provide will be checked over with her rating 6 radio signal scanner and she'll ask Truth (or anyone with the right sensors) to give it a once over too. Checking for any suspicious traces or potential bugs. |

Good, I was hoping someone was packing one of those things. They're really kinda awesome things for a paranoid runner to have to hand.

Zulu time is also known as GMT right?
If so then I don't think I even need to convert anything... Although the clocks change tonight I think. |
