How long would it take for the Arc to whip up a virus to incapacitate your systems?

*Massive amounts of number crunching*
4 processing cycles, but Deus will need to refit a drone to hook up with the troll, and that will take longer.

That's an interesting idea -- how about hollowing out a chunk of troll to create an artificial womb?

The cyberwomb or belly compartment.

Probably not, but then I've always been accused of being weird. :grinbig:

Imagine three or four tentacles, either mechanical or biological, curled in a pouch in the user's belly. The tentacle pouch flaps open allowing the tentacles to shoot forth to engulf a target or to strike repeatedly with the implanted stingers at the end of each tentacle.

It would never be a common augmentation, but for that plothook of the escaped bioweapons systems...:grinbig:

I think it might just be a robo exoskeleton, rather than just a bunch of cyber installed in someone.

Cyberwings.

Seriously, Leonardo da Vinci came up with an effective wing mechanism for human flight, only it requires muscles stronger than any human has. With cyber augmentation a set of deployable wings made of some lightweight alloy tubing plus ballistic cloth should be possible in the SR universe. They'd probably require a cybertorso for the huge torque needed to lift off, have a wingspan of perhaps 5-7 meters, and have a rating to determine how much weight, above the weight of the user, they could carry. Flight would be an active skill probably linked to body. I'd put the essence at similar to any other cyberlimb, perhaps a bit high, like 1.25 per wing. They'd always be obvious and socially disturbing, be incompatible with a balance tail (Because a stabilizer has to deploy there) and give the player a movement rate of x6 when flying.

EXCELLENT IDEA!! Mages have levitate for personal flight so it would make sense that a mundane version would be avaliable. I think Fanpro should really consider this.

Wait...It was a mage with nonfunctional cyberwings for effect (the guy had an angel motiff). He used levitate to do the actual flying. :D

Why? There is no reason why there has to be a mundane version of everything a mage can do.

And why not? Its safe to assume that their would be people who envy magically active poeple and would want to be able to do everything a mage can. Who wouldnt be envious of a mage?

Me. Because the stereotypical mage has a Body, Strength, and Quickness of 1 and I, with my katana in hand, can easily slaughter him/her.
