If you haven't yet checked out Eclipse Phase, please do remember that it's Creative Commons licensed and freely re-distributable. So, give it to your friends! (or beg one of them for it, as appropriate.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) )

I <3 Catalyst and Posthuman for making EP CC. I burned the PDF onto CDs and gave them to my buddies. Sadly, they're all D&D4E addicts. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/frown.gif)

It took a lot of effort to convince Catalyst that Creative Commons and lower PDF prices was the right thing to do ... but it was the right thing to do, and Posthuman is all about that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

The Eclipse Phase PDF is not hard to find, really.
I'm not entirely sure, if it is ok to post a link to a downloadable pdf here, though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Bye Thanee |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Bye Thanee It should be ok, though the link should probably go in General Gaming since it's non-Shadowrun, I would guess. The Creative Commons license that it uses makes it available for free via Torrent Downloads. The only caveat is that if you like it, please consider buying it once Posthuman Studios gets sales sorted out. It's a great game, and Rob, Brian, Adam, and Co did a fantastic job with it, and deserve to be supported for it. Bull |

The LEs have made progress. I'm told definitive information will be posted by Randall today or tomorrow. I will bug him to make sure that happens. Jason H. Not to be a bother, but the stated timeframe is long past. Any update on when we'll hear new information? |

The Creative Commons license that it uses makes it available for free via Torrent Downloads. I just want to point out that it's not just free via torrent downloads. It's freely redistributable, period, as long as you don't take away anyone's permissions. Share it via torrent, P2P, put it on a thumbdrive and pass that thumbdrive around your gaming group, print out a copy for your friend and a second copy for when he accidentally drops some papers into the bathtub. More readers, more players, more better. Peer-to-peer is not a crime. It's how we have shared things, forever. Technology just makes it better, and gives us more peers. I concur. We were supposed to receive an update last week. The lack of an response is rather disconcerting. Sorry we haven't had a definitive date yet. The LEs will be sent by a distributor, so we're waiting to hear from them about the definitive date. Stephen McQuillan previously said the LEs are in the distributor's warehouse. Jason H. |

I hope this doesn't come off as jerkish...
You said Randal Bills was going to make an announcement, and that you were going to do what you could to make that happen. Why couldn't Mr. Bills give *anything* at all? Was your original timeline simply too optimistic? Are they not giving you information enough to let you realistically measure this stuff? Honestly, as a consumer, it's feeling more and more like these things are never going to show. It's disturbing that every timeline given passes with no reason or comment until the fan base starts making a stink. I love this game. I've enjoyed the work CGL has done to bring SR along. But for pete's sake, if the spokesperson for the company keeps giving false information (whether intentional or through misinformation from your own superiors and cohorts), then how are we as consumers supposed to feel? I want to trust that CGL will make it, and that things will get better, but this constant misinformation is making it really hard to do. |

I'm sorry the official announcement hasn't come--we're waiting to get the official street date, and as soon as we have it (which I'm told will be soon), you'll all know it.

I'm starting to feel like the rumor about them being in limbo has some truth to it. And I concur, it seems like the odds of these books showing is dwindling steadily. And in this thread alone, it's shown that we were intentionally mislead, not even about the timeframe, which can be a mercurial thing, but about the process that we get the books shipped to us. What I want to know is if the dude who asked is getting his money back. If he gets jerked around or not is going to be of intense interest to me. |

Chances are that will fall under the "not our business" category. Unless the poster in question decides to out the info that is. And even so, it's not really our business. It would however be the business of other parties, such as the Better Business Bureau or such. |

Just a note (which I also posted in the Spec thread #6). In Battlecorps my pre-order used to say "Pending" which I just checked it today and it now says " SR4LE Pre-order". Jason, I have a great deal of sympathy for your position here. I understand that you can not pass on information that has not been provided to you. Please advise those who do have the information that making promises about release of information and then failing to do so only harms your reputation on this forum and only adds to the speculation / rumour / innuendo and falling credibility of Catalyst amongst its fanbase. No doubt this is stressful for you and I hope that management do the right thing and provide you with the information which will alleviate the pressure. |

Hello all,
Just dropping by to post an update...was hoping to have a specific Street Date today, but the distributor asked for another day to verify on his side. Regardless, the SRLEs are in house at two of the three primary distributors we use (on its way to that third distributor now). They're starting shipping and I hope in the next day or so to get a verification from the warehouse of the exact Street Date (note that usually speaking, from the time it's in the warehouse until the street date is less than 21 days...but it's been in warehouse for almost a week already). Thanks for all your patience... Again, as soon as I have more specific info, I'll post it. Randall |

Randall Great news. I'll expect to see my copy on the 3rd. I'm sure an email notification to the folks who preordered would not go amiss. I'd love to see one simply to know that everything is fine with my preorder and that I won't have to worry about any complications in two weeks. |
