I read through the IC I missed, but I'm a bit lost on the other character placements. Perhaps in IC characters can give Nikki a quick update.

Spells

Hex (as manaball) - combat spell. The Mambo prays to the Ghede (powerful group of death Loa) to curse her enemies. This powerful hex spell fries the enemies from the inside.

The Fix (as heal) - healing spell

A protection charm (as combat sense) - detection. The Rada (group of Loa's) warn the Mambo of any threat

A charm against evil spirits (mana barrier) - manipulation. The Mambo spreads white chalk in a wide circle, protecting the area from the influence of all spirits which seek to harm her.

Stepping into the crossroads (as improved invisibility) - illusion. The Loa Eshu reaches out to the Mambo and allows her to step into the crossroads between the material and spiritual realms, where she becomes virtually undetectable to the mundane senses.

No secrets can be hidden (as mind probe) - detection. The Loa Eshu knows everyone's deepest secrets. If we ask him nicely enough, he will quietly whisper them to us.

The eyes of Damballa (as mob mind) - manipulation. Damballa stares into his victim eyes, hissing and whistling. While present, Damballa - ruler of the mind and intellect, can force the victims to obey any of the Mambos commands.

No one is an enemy to water (as influence) - manipulation. A silent prayer to Oshun, the goddess of harmony, beauty and diplomacy, invokes her favor. She convinces the target of the wisdom of the Mambo's words.

Invoking the King Of Ire (as fireball) - combat. This powerful prayer to Ogoun, lord of fire, war and smiths, allows the Mambo to exhale pure fire. A sip of rum is required before casting the spell.

a Follower of Damballa (as [critter] form - snake) - manipulation. The Mambos takes the form of Damballa's closest servants. She takes the form of a small black serpent. Monique uses this spell to sneak into places unreachable by man. she needs to swallow an uncooked egg whole in order to invoke this prayer.

Haze wears different clothes and styles varying on the need, from combat gear, biker leathers, jeans and shirts with puma athletic foot wear. And if needed suit and tie for high end clients. He is soft spoken, but very quick witted. He looks like he is constantly appraising what ever situation he is in. And you can see a edge to him that you are sure comes from his past.

Origin:

Jared Givens was born as a young boy into a very poor family. As he was growing up his mother had a BTL addiction that left her useless to her children, Jared learned to beg and steal for food to feed his sister and himself. When he had reached the ripe old age of 13 his mother died and left him fending for his little family.
Now he was forced to up his effort to keep the place they called home and food on the table for his sister and him. Then that fateful day when he got caught trying to take a cred stick from a drug drop that went bad. Jared grabbed it when it hit the ground when the rival drug pin was geeking the drop man. He actually got away a full 2 blocks before the black nightsky rolled up on him, that is when the world ended, he was dragged into the back of the limo and beaten terribly. He was told the cost of theft was death or servitude. They pulled up to his doss and he was told since you are not answering for your crime I will choose for you.
That is when the huge troll bodyguard came from the building holding his sister, the suited man nodded and Jared watched as his sisters brain was removed from her skull with a large caliber bullet. I spun on the suited man screaming and swinging until I was struck unconscious. The next thing I remember is waking up in more pain than I can ever remember. Then after I could finally stay awake and focus the suited man walked in. I tried to leap from the bed to strangle him for killing my sister but I found out I was restrained.
He then sits down and explains what he has done to me, he said you will become my driver and body guard. I start to laugh and say the minute I am free I will end you, he shows me a button and says you even think of crossing me and I push this detonator to the cortex bomb in you brain. When you have paid off your debt to me I will remove the bomb, but know the cost of the enhancements are great and you will owe me for years.
So my career started as a rigger, I learned control and fighting, I strived to learn everything, to be the best of the best. I started doing off site jobs when I knew it was safe. Started saving cred till I could get the bomb removed without Slick Sammy ever knowing. Then years later the day finally came. Sammy went to his vacation home, I had the procedure done when he was out of the country without me. Then he returned and that day had finally come. I was taking him on his daily pickup route and I had the Roto drone waiting. He stepped out and the ares alpha turned him to Swiss soy cheese. Now alone in the world with just the starting equipment I could gather and hide I turn to the shadows looking for a home and a family.

It is and it isn't...I'm just about to post a recruitment thread to the sequel to this story line as we've had some drop outs and I'm getting some interest in the game from SG etc so it seemed sensible to put a timeline break into the proceedings and start fresh...so please do post you characters in that OoC or the main OoC as you like!
