Each stash will cost 3580ny. Added to this will be 1,000ny of various currencies (from the 5K to be saved if needed).
If we want 2 stashes it'll cost 7160. I'll donate my 2500 which drops the cost to 4560. Cedric said we could use his 2500 which drops the cost again to 2060. Pliskin may be planning to use his cash for another purchase.
Once that is paid we'll have a large rucksack with 2 smg's, 1 rifle, ammo, grenades, medkit, 2 survival kits, and 1000ny. Any suggestions for locations of stashing the stash? GM: what type of area will we be living and working?
I may initiate, I'll let you know in time (hopefully).

Personally, I think we're paying too much for the residence. I thought we were buying a safe house to lay low. I donno about your characters, but my guy already has three residences scattered across North America (Seattle, Knoxville, and Baja, Aztlan, with equivalent Fake SINs)
I was thinking like two or three stashes, in a variety of bus stations, buried holes in backyards, etc. I would say scattered in border-towns between CA and Aztlan and CAS and Aztlan, since it seems to be that's each of our area's of specialization.

I could probably drop the price to about 3,500 a month with little loss. 3 stashes would work, but the cost will probably be the same for those. I like the idea of bus station lockers in various locations.
GM, will our first meet be out of a specific nation? Near any specific cities? Or do we start in Seattle and go from there?
So, drop 3 stashes. One each in Austin, San Diego, and Tenochtitlán? Other suggestions?

I got one legit place of residence for my character, though thats mostly a place for her kid to be when mama is on the road blowing contracts away. I am for a safe house though, something relatively expendible in case baddies come looking for the team in the name of retribution.

agreed Foxx. Expendable is the name of the game. We don't have enough dough to fortify something to the point where it could hold out against a determined opponent anyway.

"Baddies"? We are mercs. We aren't fighting the good fight, we are making a paycheck.

Everyone else is as justified in what they are doing as we are. But I know what you are saying. And as cool as it would be to live in a Bat Cave, we have few garentees in this line of employment.

Well the game is going to start tomorrow evening. Setting will be Seattle. I am planing on starting the game at the meeting so please take care of stating what your character has with them in your initial post. My first post should give you enough background.
Also, could someone supply me with a brief note on the history of the team that you came up with. Also, who is in charge and all that, I am not clear on what you all decided. Thanks.

That will put me in charge, though everyone has equal say in planning. C.R. will be in charge of any commando teams and generally the second in command.
I guess I'll keep track of the cash, though if anyone else wishes to, contact me. We'll end up with 3 safehouses. One in Austin, San Diego, and Tenochtitlán. These locations will also be where the stash bags are stored. The safehouses will cost 1,650

and rented for 1 month. The stashes cost 3580

each. If we leave 1,000

in various locations the total cost for all 3 locations is 18,690

. This leaves the current team fund with 11,310

.
Did snake or others plan to use some of that money?

Team Background to a certain degree C.J. and Pliskin were part of the fated defection marine squad. Most members are dead, though a few have merely disappeared. Looking for additions, they recruited Heather and Cryptic, needing a heavy weapons and communications expert for the team. After running multiple missions with those two, C.J. met a fellow soldier (Cedric) he remembered from the academy. C.J. and Cedric were never friends, but had mutual respect for each other's abilities during their time training. Needing an on-scene commando leader, Cedric filled the role admirably. |

. As things go, cash is easy to get and easier to spend. After three months, C.J. called up each member and asked if they would be willing to start working again. Most agreed and decided to meet in Seattle for the next job.
