hahahahahaha, I didn't even notice I spelt that wrong, but ya, I use RPing to add or subtract extra dice for the roles involving the skill, some of the players i GM aren't good RPers so they just use the skills etc.
The roleplaying is because social situations are like the name implies, social. To add extra depth to this I let the players RP, and if the RPing is out of character I translate what they say by their charisma in a way (so when a face is meeting a contact - hubba hubba, *add appropriate cheesy pick-up line* = Hi, may I say that you are very attractive woman, and may we now get down to the financial side of our business transaction). This increases the realism in the games I find, making them more personal to the players, so they feel like their characters are real people with their own feelings etc, not just some P&P character on a sheet that has topped out stats and plays like a video game
