For music? Nope. Twin 250 gig Sata raid tends to make you forget what limited space is. And no, Im not making up for something with the size of my disk.
I can see the same thing in the future, storage space is getting soo huge now. I carry half a gig on my car keys. So loading up an interactive modded version of Quake 9 on your Ares Alpha is pretty fesable.

hmm, there is allso som multiterabyte storage media out there.
lets just say that if anyone try to guess the amount of storage we will have x number of years into the future, they will miss by atleast 50%, at best...

The only thing that keeps someone from carrying Deus around in his pistol/mp3 player is fear that the GM will beat him to death with the hardcover BBB. This, I presume, is why SR4 is the first edition to have hardcover BBB. |
Ummm, I had a hardcover SR1 and SR2. I'm not sure a hardcover SR3 was ever released, though. IIRC, the hardcover was generally only for the 1st & 2nd printing with subsequent versions being softcover to reduce prices.

To clarifiy hyzmarca's statement, 4th edition is the first SR edition where there will be no shift to softcover after the first printing.

Yeah well headware memory always seemed sort of uneeded to me. I just thought to buy external storage and have it like up with my datajack or put it in a leg or something. With the PANs there is no need even for that unless disruption is in affect.
