Mister Juan
@Shadow
How do you want me to deal with Reynaldo's rigging dice pool? Should I give you a bunch of rolls and just fully add it to each?
Mister Juan
As for the electronic suite running, Reynaldo will turn on both ECM and ED as soone as he crosses the SSC border (rating 2 for both). As stated before, he's going to keep as low as he can... which might give the passangers one hell of a ride. Nothing like have trees buz by under your feet at 200mph wink.gif

Also, the turret in the nose will be folded in, as to reduce the signature of the helo.

@Shadow
Just to clarify... when he says see you in a few hours does he mean he'll see me down at the aid station when he hops a ride on the t-bird? or does that mean he wants me to meet up with him at some location?
Shadow
He will see you at the aid station.

@ Shadow -
Just let me know of any or all obstructions that I may need to take care of. Otherwise here's my driving:

Since Reynaldo is "scanning" the camp and surrounding area, here are some sensor rolls.

That said... I blame Mister Juan! nyahnyah.gif

@Shadow: Just so you know, I saw the contents of the spoiler tags for Mr Juan (his sensor test) accidently, because it appears, without tags, in the subscription email.

I'll take care in future, but you might want to use PM's instead. smile.gif
Raiko
Mirage will use her speed, rather than stealth, to search the tents as quickly (and carefully) as possible. There doesn't seem much point being sneaky after being dropped off by the helicopter.

Having said that, she does keep her stealth coat active.

If the tents are all empty, she'll relay the news to Reynaldo immediately.
Shadow
Sorry for the delay guys. My whole family has had the flu this last week (except me) so I was knee deep in diaper and tissue. Of course now they are feeling better and I am getting it. I will get some post up here to moe things along.

Copy that chief. Good to see someone is still alive.

Tsall goooood
Mister Juan
So, Reynaldo will stay, when he's not needed, in the helo's cockpit, to keep an eye on the sensors (which are running powered down at rating 2. High enough to keep and eye on the surrounding terrain and sky... but low enough not to be picked up by anything). If he ever detects something strange (especially something flying towards them), he'll inform everyone and then turn off the sensors so that he doesn't emit any signal.

He'll also continuously run his scanner (rating 6), take note of any broadcasting frequencies (which he'll run thru his broadcast decryption if need be)

He will also route everyone's communication thru his own Broadcast encryption (rating 6).
Mister Juan
And a little roll to see if Reynaldo happens to know of any paracritters that could mean trouble in the area.

How long until the smugglers arrive, is it worth doing anything before we have fuel for the helo?

Raiko
I’ve had a PM from Shadow, he’ll be in San Diego in a few more days, so I thought I’d bump this thread, to check we’re all still here.

Maybe we could make some OOC (or IC I guess) plans before Shadow gets back. I figure we need to recon for the cult facility first, and the following methods seem viable (in my order of preference):

1: Cypher could “acquire” some time on a commercial spy-satellite to look for it (or even just data search through past imagery of the area). This seems the stealthiest way to find it, and if he can access live imagery we may be able to observe guard pattern, sentry-gun locations and things like that.

2: Use the helo to scout out the area, almost as good as (1), but less stealthy, having said that I’d imagine that surplus Blackhawks are quite common in the 2060’s so maybe not too much of a worry.

3: Use a spirit to look for them. This is possibly very stealthy, but we don’t know how powerful the sect is magically.

What do the rest of you think?
Mister Juan
If memory serves (I don't have the stats in front of me) but the helo has a pretty high flying roof... and a very strong sensor suite. We might actually be able to just "spy" up close from very high above.

My only concern would be that some SSC radar might pick us up since we're close to the Tir's border... or maybe the said camp has AA weaponry. I dunno about you, but I'm sure Reynaldo doesn't feel like dodging Ground to Air missiles wink.gif
Raiko
If you stick to using passive sensors, they won't have any reason to fire anything - they'd just be drawing attention to themselves.

Still, see what Shadow says about stealing satellite time, I'm sure Cipher will think he can get it, he's not exactly lacking in self confidence. biggrin.gif
