Okay, character history. This is my usual style, so be prepared for some reading. Oh, and please forgive if the ones for 2060 are wrong in several areas. Remember she was a little mind-fragged during that time.

Journal, January 2060
January 1st: Happy new year my hoop. I'm sitting in the shot-up remains of a Stuffer Shack, eating fast food to survive. Well, it's better than across the street. All that's left of Pizza Bell is dead bo... holy drek! Are those bodies moving? Okay, that's too freaky, I'm rabbitting.
January 3rd: Ran into some surviving Renraku guards and have been hanging with them. I keep the two doberman drones they're using fixed, so they're letting me stay. Seems their mechanic got fragged by a crane. Something about an "AI" and someone named "Deus." Still, I don't entirely trust these guys. They seem... twitchy. They've almost shot each other three times and the chrome head keeps suffering hallucinations. Just yesterday he was speaking with the accent you see in Robin Hood sims on the trid. And, today, he keeps muttering something about a tree.
January 9th: Lost the guards. Eight-legged drones attacked us and I got cut off. I don't know what those drones had in them, but I got shot by one and spent two hours wandering in a forest that wasn't real. Then, I ran across a group of execs. Never seen them before, but they've taken me in. I'm not even sure what floor I'm on, and they all seem equally confused. One survivor keeps telling stories about something called "drop bears." What the frag are those? From the way he tells it, sounds like vampiric teddy bears with attitude.
January 11th: Drones are everywhere... The group I was with was forced to flee when a spider drone (that's what one of the suits calls them) busted through a wall. Now, we're hiding out in a restroom and raiding a local diner for food. Had a group of runners come through here yesterday, but from the looks of them this Deus guy got them first. I've never seen so much chrome in a single body before. Still, they ignored us, so it's all good.
January 14th: Nothing really much has happened. We discovered a group of Renraku guards raiding the diner across the hall and merged with them. They provide security while we grab the food and help us scout. They seem to know as little as we do and have been trapped as long as we have. Might have been cut off from their command structure.
January 15th: Fragging guards! They turned on us in the night. Myself and a couple others managed to get away. Something about "orders from command" or some weird drek like that. Currently hiding out in a Stuffer-Sha... Great. I'm back where I started. At least the bodies are gone.
January 19th: Ugh... Got caught by a drone. I don't remember much... Something about Deus, a tree, and being "unsuitable for experimental augmentation." I was let go as part of "adaptive survival with weaknesses" testing. What does that mean, anyway? Sadly, I was dumped off at the same Stuffer-Shack I started at. Great.
January 21st: Well, I discovered I now have a datajack. I wonder why? Seems to be better quality than any I've seen before. Oh well. Oh, still at the Stuffer-Shack. Tried to escape through the vents, only to come out in a different part of it. It seems someone reworked the vent system.
January 24th: All of my escape attempts have proven useless. Drones all over the place, so I'm staying in the Stuffer-Shack for now. A group of Renraku soldiers tried to take this area yesterday, but they lost after a heavy battle with the drones. At least I now know the outside world is trying.
January 30th: Ugh... I've been forced up a few floors by drones. Somebody is making serious efforts to take this place from this Deus guy and the drones are trying to keep people from getting out. I'm currently hiding in what looks like a meeting room of some sort. At least there's an employee cafeteria nearby to raid.

Journal, June 2060
June 1st: The group of people I've managed to gather in the meeting room I took over in January is proving resilient. No one really knows what's going on, even after all of this time, but we've taken to pure survival for now. Seen the occasional group of Renraku or UCAS soldiers move through, but they're never alive long enough to be much of a help. We've taken to raiding their bodies for weapons and armor to use against the drones. We've also taken to hunting some of the escaped animals that make it up here for food. Oh, and if anyone asks, magical sparrows taste terrible.
June 4th: Seems we've got another group of runners. Two Deus augments among them. You can tell from the crazy, spaced-out look they get in their eyes at times. Not seen much of Deus's troops other than the drones, and I am very happy for that. The runners have agreed to help us escape.
June 5th: Drek! We managed to get down two floors, but are trapped. UCAS troops and Deus drones are in a major battle for this area. While sleeping, I dreamed about the tree again. This time, I think I remembered something more of what Deus said. Advancing humanity through force? Divinity? No, those are wrong... I think I said those, not him... So, what did he say? Was it even him I was talking to?
June 6th: And, we're out. Not out in one piece or unscathed, but out. UCAS blew a couple of support pylons and the section of floor we were on collapsed. Once we were back up and moving, we headed for the elevators. We managed to escape through the main garage doors. UCAS was there to greet us and openned fire, but the runners with us shot back and I managed to escape in the confusion.
June 10th: I got caught by the police yesterday and handed over to UCAS authorities. Once they determined I was just an escaped survivor and wasn't augmented by Deus (didn't tell them about the datajack), they decided I was safe to keep out of the arcology. I'm being kept for three months for observation and to tell of what I know about what's inside, but otherwise I don't have any worries. I was even promised a healthy payment to keep my mouth shut. Unfortunately, they won't let me keep this journal on hand during that and are confiscating it for any tactical data it can give them, so this will be the final entry.

Journal, July 2066
July 1st: Today the UCAS sent a contact form for confirmation of details about my identity. It's been over a year and things are getting back to normal. Luckily, I was smart enough to include my fake ID as my "twin sister" and to send in information. They have no way of knowing it's false.
July 10th: Just got confirmation that they have added in the "sister" and apologize for the mistake. I also managed to find my journal entries for my time with Yamatetsu, but like most of my journals, they were wiped during the crash. Besides this one, there's the one the UCAS has that may have survived. They still haven't released it, and I don't expect them to. Still, it would be nice to have that back some day.
July 11th: What did Deus do to me, anyway? I was trying on a piece of gold jewelry I wanted to buy, and I broke out with a rash! Must be some kind of allergy... But to gold? Why gold?
July 15th: Wow! I was working with a drone to check its programming when the gun on it misfired. Drone's glitched to all hell, and I was out for hours. Must be the gun. But, why would my boss want to have it using a gun, anyway?
July 19th: Great. Another runner. Belgarath has been fixing these drones for runners, and occasionally reselling them if the runners die. I'll keep quiet for now. Oh, and I noticed 20th Century foul language is returning to popularity. I expect to see it replacing current shadow-slang within a year or two.
July 23rd: Group of Ares men came in today. Not like the normal street trash we get. These guys were buffed. I recognize one as a former runner. Helped me survive the Arcology, so I'm glad he's okay. Apparently, they're going to Aztlan and want some heavy equipment. I managed to convince them to take along lynxes and gave their rigger a quick lesson on repairing them. I think they're impressed, because they doubled their order after that. Got a nice bonus for it.
July 26th: Odd, but I swear it's like someone broke in... My computer is missing several files, half of the tools are not where I left them, and there is an extra doberman. And, I found some cash in an envelope with my name on it. Belgarath says to not worry and just fix the drone. Weird... But, I swear, every time I look into that drone's sensors, I almost swear it's looking back...
July 29th: The drone vanished overnight, and I found another envelope. Odd. Still, for the money, I think they'll be happy. I managed to upgrade a couple of systems and several parts while repairing it. I notice the money's also more than the first envelope. Frag it. No one's finding out about this.
