Okay, I'm sorta back to life again.
pragma, near as I have been able to tell, Flat is driving us just the short distance from where we staged around to the other side of the building, and Ophis said JW could command the Landy's autopilot to follow us, so I assume it is lumbering along behind my Comet.
So now we just gotta wait for one ugly combat turn to resolve and we get to make our grand entrance, right!?

Adamu's summary is correct on the timing/positioning.
I'm going to presume that toobit will use his actual movement to scale the ladder some.
Can I get an climbing+str test for toobit to prevent an embarrassing tumble. 1 hit is fine, if you get 3 or more you can get your head out the hole.
The snow is inflicting a -2 modifier of any test for people out of the hole.
I also need rea+unarmed rolls for Dark Horse and Wing as well.
IC post will go up once I have the rolls in.
The agent has managed to track several commlinks to one location about 3 blocks away, roughly in the direction the three people who came out the trap door went.
Metatron

reaction + unarmed - 2 = 9+5-2= 12
4,3,4,4,5,4,2,3,6,4,5,2 = 3 hits.

Toobits climing check (no climbing skill so defaulting)

What would I be rolling for unarmed? combat?
If that's the case, here's my roll
Reaction + Unarmed - 2 modifier : 8 dice :: 4 1 3 2 1 2 2 = no hits

Sweet, IC post up shortly.
Ophis
Feb 1 2007, 11:59 PM
Okay can Dark Horse resist 6 Stun using only Willpower please?
Oh and Toobit has the bonus passes right now! Lucky him. Note for future I tend to rule that the thresholds on imp ref are a little low, so I run +1 pass per 2 hits, however I hadn't mentioned this so you get all three.
Okay Second pass, feel free to declare. Dark Horse your limited to killing yourself or using strength+body to try and pull out of the tendrils.
MisterDoormat
Feb 3 2007, 10:59 PM
Resit 6 Stun : 4 dice :: 6 5 1 5 = 3 hits
Which leaves 3 boxes of stun damage right? -1 modifier?
Escaping the tendrils.
I never used Edge before, so I hope I am doing this right.
I am going to use 1 Edge
Strength + Body - stun modifier + Edge : 11 dice :: 1 2 5 2 6 2 6 5 6 5 2 = 6 hits
Rule of Six reroll : 3 dice :: 4 5 4 = 1 hit
Total hits = 7 hits
Ophis
Feb 3 2007, 11:06 PM
Spot on for using edge before a roll.
Metatron
Feb 4 2007, 11:35 AM
I am attempting to shoot the spirit thing, twice, with EEx ammo.
longarms + agility + smartlink - snow = 13 dice
5,2,1,6,5,1,5,3,1,5,5,1,6 = 7 hits
2nd shot, same 13 dice
4,2,3,5,3,2,3,2,3,3,5,1,4
rolling edge for failures
2 hits + 4,1,6,1,2,2,3,2,5,1,5 = 3 hits, so 5 hits total.

Ophis -
I know it is not our turn yet, but in preparation for the next combat turn, thought I would ask this question now to save a post cycle when the time comes.
During the combat turn happening right now with everyone fighting, Flat is busy driving to said fight.
Each combat turn in which I operate a vehicle, I must spend one complex action Operating Vehicle (or whatever it is) or face a crash test.
Question is, is stopping the car at the scene of the fight part of my action for this first turn, in which case at start of next turn car will be stopped and I'll be free to act?
Or on the scene of our arrival will I still need to take an action to stop the car?
I am assuming and hoping the former, but always best to check with GM first...
Ophis

I thought that we were only on the second pass -- my current understanding is that Adamu, Vegas and I are not going to be in until the next turn.
If I'm wrong. JW is going to open the door then take cover behind it.
amra28
Feb 8 2007, 02:14 AM
Toobit will continue rushing up the ladder. Once his head is above the trapdoor he and if he sees the spirit he will attempt to banish it.
Not sure if you want another climb check but here it is if you do.
Defaulting again = 1,2
0 Hits, critical glitch
If you want a perception check to see the spirit:
Perception (modifiers factored in) = 3,1,3
0 Hits
Banishing = 4,5,5,4,6,5,3,3,4,5,2
5 Hits
Ophis
Feb 8 2007, 09:32 AM
Damn your lucky today amra28, I honetly didn't want the climb roll or perception roll.
The second pass will go up once I'm back from work.

So you are NOT waiting on me? Cuz I was on the same page as pragma...
But while I am here and being annoying, another question for the GM -
Ready weapon takes a simple action. Activate focus takes a simple action. Some people count that as all just one simple action for readying a weapon focus - some people don't....
amra28
Feb 8 2007, 03:37 PM
Oops, I forgot to count the sustained spell. Subtract 2 dice from each of my rolls above.

You can immediately try to take control of the spirit.

Dark Horses attack did nothing, sadly autofire doesn't help against spirits, then the spirit spend edge to act in pass four and leaves this plane. Okay the cars will pull round shortly and JWs agent is giving him more confirmations of the regroup point.

By regroup point do you mean the bad guys/targets he was tracking?
pragma, if you still are tracking the bad guys, is that on all our comms? Or maybe you could give us an IC update if it's not.
I am thinking it would still be a cool idea (since the spirit only slowed our guys down by three seconds, and now we're on the scene with both cars) to continue our hot pursuit - hoping JW could point both vehicles toward good routes for a pincer movement....
Just a thought, open to other ideas, of course.
Ophis

I do mean that by regroup point. Feel free to proceed however you wish, I will interject as needed.

Feb 19 2007, 03:36 PM
Ophis - so since you don't specify who sees this, you mean that we converge on the location according to plan?
Does the person appear to see us? Are they running or just sauntering in? Do we recognize him/her? Or can we just get a basic description? Does the person have to mess with a bunch of locks, or are they maybe let in by someone else?
Here is a general perception test -
Intuition + Perception + Adept Power - partial light (0 thanks to Low-light glasses) - 2 for snow = 15 dice
6 4 1 6 5 1 3 3 4 3 6 6 3 2 2 = 5 hits
Ophis
Feb 26 2007, 09:59 AM
Yep you're all together.
The place is a bolt hole of sorts, no obvious/in obvious physical guards. maybe they're foolish enough to think you won't follow...
The guy heading in hasn't spotted you, I'm presuming your not right out front but nearby in sight of the building. Carry on in a narrative/chatting sort of way and I'll update you on ongoing events etc.
JW you reckon there are about eleven people in there judging by how many signals you've tracked. That includes the two people who went out the back who didn't have comms running.
pragma
Feb 26 2007, 03:44 PM
Going to do a bit of hackery:
1. Check the building's ARO (if one exists) for a floor plan and upload it to the team. If not just sketch a really rudimentary building shaped square.
2. Mark the agent's tracking data on the map.
3. Run a quick scan for wireless nodes in the building to try and tack down more information about them-- not bothering with the extended test because we just don't have time to be looking for hidden nodes. Mark on map.
EW + Scan # dice: 12 :: 2 6 2 1 5 6 5 6 1 1 2 3 -- 5 successes
After that I'm going to try the back doorknob. If it opens we move in. If not, JW blows it off its hinges with the shotgun and then moves in. I'll also inform the other team appropriately with some kind of go code.
Of course, this will also involve keeping an eye open for traps and ambushes etc.
Ophis
Feb 26 2007, 03:56 PM
Okies no aro
You have a firm location on nine people in the building. These link up with wirelss nodes you find and the tracking data.
I severyone going in the front or are you going two pronged?
Vegas
Feb 26 2007, 10:08 PM
Just for the record Adamu, did you effectively just "lock" Jun in the car?

Just checking before I write something incorrectly.
pragma
Feb 26 2007, 10:21 PM
@Ophis,
My understanding is that the heavy hitters were going to kick down the front door and that Flat and JW were going in through some kind of side entrance. If no such side entrance exists then front door it is.
adamu
Feb 27 2007, 02:29 AM
Flat will definitely back JW's entry, whichever door he ends up breaching.
Vegas - sorry - no, just locked it to outsiders to keep you safeŽ. Won't take a genius to simply unlock your door manually.
EDIT - Flat shifting to Astral Perception as we enter.
Ophis
Feb 27 2007, 06:45 PM
No side door, but if your willing to jog a little there should be a rear entrance that can be accessed fairly easily.

Feb 27 2007, 08:10 PM
Again Toobit will be providing counterspelling for those with him.
