RAW state specifically (p. 187) that Assensing can benefit from Enhanced Perception. Good thing too, I built the leader and face of a well-funded Magical Artifact Liberation Team around getting assensing to silly levels. Don't scare me, toturi!

Mea culpa. But I said I wasn't too sure.
I'm sure you'd notice that that makes a Mystic Adept pretty strong in Perception now.
