What, was melting Kensei's eyes too much?

Cain is the elf butler that has been with Simon. Simon hasn't left yet, and is waiting for your input on pay, gear, and tactical support. Or questions. I guess you could shoot him if you wanted to, which would certainly be interesting, but could also just be awkward.

Especially since he hasn't paid us yet.

Edit: Oh, wait, he has. Well, it still would be, because B Bandit lacks a gun to shoot him with.

Yay! I still have someone! Classes start tomorrow, but I don't think that will effect my ability to update the story. It'll affect the story, for sure, but in ways that are interesting, I hope. I'll be learning quite a bit about antennae and communications theory this semester, but I'll try to keep the EM Warfare stuff to a minimum.

By the way, I've finished designing the Nautilus. You'll still be using Gil's boat for a bit, but keep in mind that there is a delta clinic on board the Nautilus. Access to it and gear is the payment type that Simon is offering, but he may take it poorly if you chopped him into little bits and stuffed him down the disposal. I mean, you'd still probably get access, but his feelings would be hurt.

I'm pretty busy right now, it will be some time before I can write up an IC post.

Simon and Cain are willing to meet the demand for 80,000n¥ more in payment. The question is only how much of it do you want up front, and how much of that do you want in gear or 'ware? Consider yourselves with access to a delta clinic, but keep in mind that it is Simon's private delta clinic, and he is the surgeon.

Is that a threat?

Normally I'd jump on the opportunity to get payment in gear but I just can't find anything suitable that Kensei would want.

He's an adept and a shifter so he doesn't want 'ware, the only useful focus for a phys-ad is a weapon focus which he already has and he already has what he needs in regard to normal armor/firearms (except maybe a mil-spec armor ). So I don't really see anything he could get as payment.

Hmm, combat drugs, savior guardian medkits, nanosystem infusions, explosives, drones, programs, sensor equipment, gear designed to work underwater (dive masks that fix the optical distortion of salt water is a decent idea), rocket launchers, orbital laser strikes, nanoscanners, manatech, chemical compounds, customized firearms?

And Simon being the surgeon it isn't a threat so much as a warning that you might get the Mysterious Implant quality or something.

Sorry about my absence, got caught up in the first few weeks of school and fixing my laptop (which now has Windows 7, so long Windows Vista junk). Heck, I'd be fairly happy with just Cerebral Boosters 3, but B Bandit is more ambitious than I am

Simon vanishing is the current problem. Last I checked he hasn't been on since the end of last month.

Hope he's okay. I don't think he mentioned that he was going away for any time or anything. Might have just burned out, he was posting quite a bit from what I could see.
