I will stick with the format I've seen used before -

[[]] and orange time/location stamp.
<<>> and yellow to indicate anything that's said by way of comms that's not being heard, either by typing or subvocal mic.
If it's in "" it's actually being said, regardless of color. Bold any character names.

Holding this spot for The Marquis. Will Edit and add him here once I get back to my computer (am using BB right now).

I have some good news! My wife gave birth today to a beautiful girl! Mom and baby doing well. Baby is three weeks early, so was caught off guard!

Well congrats on the new edition to the family!
Digital Heroin
Congrats to you and the missus. Welcome to the sleepless nights!
BlackHat
Yes, congrats!
Isinghar
Thank you guys, slept exactly 3 hours last night sleepy.gif .

Have a few minutes today to catch up. Have posted The Marquis, and fleshed out his Contacts. Klink let me know if you have any issues with the contacts and if I need to change any.

Will post IC next.

Aaaaand Digital Heroin looks to be playing the hero of our story. What with the other four of us being sociopaths and all.

Was Vlad the Impaler a sociopath!
Were Vikings Sociopath!..

Norlag isn't a sociopath

He just likes to hurt people.

Digital Heroin
The hero is the compulsive car thief who learned to blow stuff up in jail and has dreams of being a simporn king? We are dooomed...
Digital Heroin
Kid is looking for any nodes he hasn't seen before in the area, cameras are his target of choice: 7 dice for the test (2 hits). He is also watching the physical for the moment (free observe in detail due to multitasking): 6 dice for the perception test (2 hits).
klinktastic
Sorry, a little distracted today. About to post up in the IC.
Digital Heroin
Poor Kid, no toys to play with just yet... guess he'll have to get creative... or more primal at least... I shall be posting in a few.
sabs
They didn't react to me at all?
klinktastic
Sorry, I got interrupted in my post and it took a while to get it out.
klinktastic
So I editted it. The setting is literally on the border of your turf and their turf. They're standing on their side, heckling your girls. But alas, I want you guys to get a fight in early, so you can test your characters out.

I hope you didn't think that would be difficult with this batch of misanthropes.

I was hoping you'd oblige me.

Misanthropes? Who you calling Misanthropes. We're social DE-generates! Thank you very much.

Where do you want Initiative rolls? here? or in the IC post under spoilers
J. Packer
And, aside from Norgal who has entered the street, how far apart would you say we are? 10 meters? 15?

I prefer just like in JP's game to have rolls in the IC thread. So you can just do them there.

15 sounds about right. It's your basic 2 lane street, one going each way. Not much in the way of traffic.
klinktastic
Definitely in melee range, but you'll have to take a couple steps.
Digital Heroin
Ok, slow to react, should be working since I had a longass meeting this morning, but I will have something sketched up and posted soon. Question? They're across the street... what are the buildings like here, or the cover?

Mostly store fronts and/or dilpediated apartment buildings. Cover-wise, there's all sort of stuff. Scraped mailboxes, burned out hulks of cars. Feel free to write in whatever you want. It's your world as much as it is mine.
Digital Heroin
Alrighty then... oh, and someone care to refresh my memory... what happens when you glitch initiative? Go Kid....

Alrighty then... oh, and someone care to refresh my memory... what happens when you glitch initiative? Go Kid....

If a character rolls a glitch on his Initiative Test, he automatically goes
after anyone who has the same Initiative Score as him (rather than
acting simultaneously). If the gamemaster chooses, she can also inflict
a minor dice pool modifier (–1) to the character’s first action, to reflect
his stumbling start.
If the character rolls a critical glitch, he not only goes last in each
Initiative Pass, but he also loses one of his extra actions (if any); this
does not affect characters who have only one action per turn.
Digital Heroin
Ok, so he's going after anyone else on 10... which isn't entirely shabby, let me know about the dice pool adjust... could be amusing given a quickdraw is going to be his first action...

Just... don't glitch on that roll, k?
Digital Heroin
Hah... Kid makes some smooth comment and tosses his gun to one of the Dog Warriors... then looks to the others and says 'what? that was a distraction, get 'em!'

LOL! Classic distraction move!
BlackHat
Shame it wasn't a grenade. wink.gif

Well, Ishingar hasn't rolled intiative yet, but all 4 of your beat their initiatives, so it shouldn't really matter. He will probably go before them too....but we can cross that bridge later.

Yeah, he's been notably quiet in the game I'm running as well. The daddy business must be running him dry.

Oh, and I'm assuming I have to burn my first IP to draw my sword and do the perception check. If you think otherwise, I can change my post.

Not surprising. I'm not even married yet and I'm dreading it.
Digital Heroin
Heh, I just noticed I'm absolute last in our order....
klinktastic
Awww....no it doesn't matter. You all can make your rolls, easier to respond en mass.

12.5 years married, but got lucky enough to trick a girl who didn't want kids into marrying me. smile.gif
sabs
He's a new papa
Being a New papa is much work, and he's probably exhausted. Give him a couple of days to get on his feeters smile.gif
BlackHat
If I am reading it right, Princess goes first, draws her sword and looks around, and then pusher goes. I'll get his action up ASAP

I buy my kids on eBay, but only for their resale value whenever Angelina Jolie goes shopping...

Flipping kids is rough. There's the upkeep costs, the hidden issues that you wind up paying for, and they lose value so quickly...

It (they) are not a good investment, if thats what you mean.
sabs
There is no better investment than a kid.

But it's like playing the stock market. If you're playing the long game (20+ years) you can get good returns. But short term, you can get really screwed.
BlackHat
Pusher's action is up, which probably requires 5 rolls from Klink, and may really change the situation for the next guy.
sabs
Next guy is me.

I'll wait to see what Klink says.

Since my action is probably to draw and shoot dumbass center mass for pulling a gun on me smile.gif
Although I'm tempted to be all.. I draw my axe, and get all medeival.

I think of it as more like buying a car. You lose value the minute you take it home, and it just drops from there. It's not until 25 years later that it suddenly starts becoming more valuable. smile.gif
