I don't get the allusion. Can you explain?

It would seem there is a fine line between one who plays efficiently and one who munches. The factor many think takes one across that line is the intention of the player: play well vs. "win" the table. And, maybe erring on the side of caution, sometimes players/GMs perceive munching where none existed.
