Does the armor spell and the mystic armor adept power stack?
Kagetenshi
Don't believe anything states otherwise.
Is it true? Do you have rigger adaptation?

I think this is a judgement call for each GM to make for his/her campaign. In my campaign, if their functions are very similar, I rule they are two different magical ways to achieve the same effect and thus do not stack -- only the stronger would be used. If their functions are markedly different, I rule they are different affects and thus would stack.

As I read the descriptions of the Armor Spell and Mystic Armor, I see they behave differently. The Armor spell is ballistic and impact armor but only on the physical plane, while the adept power is impact only but works when attacked by either physical and astral opponents. This is enough of of a difference that I would rule them to be two different affects, and would stack as impact armor in the physical world.
