remember the big ass typo in dÃkote in SR3 Canon Companion?
in english, it says BLADED weapons get a +1 to damage and power
in german, it says EDGED(Klingen) weapons, as in weapons used by the skill EDGED weapons . . so with the GERMAN rules a Pole-Arm or Shuriken or something could not be dikoted, in the english version, there's no such thing . . and that's just one example
edit: aside from munic noir and runner havens i have those books . . i found em in english only . . maybe my favourite shops just don't sell the german ones O.o

One of those says that you can go from 6 -> 9 (a modified value of 1.5 initial value), and the other says that you can go from 6 -> 15 (a modifier to the value of 1.5 initial value). Those are not even close to the same.
Of course in either case the total amount of Essence being drained is extremely minuscule. And increasing Spirit Force is always
always going to be hideously broken because small increases to already large Forces have really profound impacts to power levels.

Is there a good reason why blood spirits don't have essence loss anymore? Losing and draining essence seems so simple to me.

Nah, don't worry, Blood Spirits now have some kind of Evanescence that needed to be made an exception to normal Evanescence, because the original rules for Evanescence simply sucked too.

Before, Blood Spirits couldn't even lose Essence at all, as most of them could materialize anyway. It would have been simpler to give Blood Spirits Essence Loss, of course, instead of an hack-neyed Evanescence rule, but somebody's probably quite fond of it, and absolutely wants it to be incorporated, even if it doesn't work rules-wise.

Does NOT do what it says without additional qualifiers.
1 cubic meter can take on many different dimensions.
10 meters wide x 1 meter in width x 0.1 meters in height just happens to equal 1 cubic meter.
The same goes for 100 meters wide x 1 meter in width x 0.01 meters in height
Someone might want to make sure that text reads properly as by itself, it doesn't do as advertised.

Right, maybe replace with:
"must measure one meter in any direction"?
