This has convinced me that Mounties campaigns should be run using SR3 rules. This is because Mounties are sterotypically known for nonviolence, (in spite of the fact that I guess recently they've had a few stinks) and at the same time in SR3 it's ridiculously effective to use stun attacks rather than physical-causing attacks.
Therefore, there could be a campaign centered around storming buildings filled with, say, squatters, but then instead of shooting everyone you strategically beat the tar out of them with fists, feet, stun prods, and shotguns loaded with gel rounds. Ideally the GM would create situations for a lot of physical-beatdown slapstick.
