If I were the Canadian government I've give each citizen a complimentary Diemarco C7 with 2 empty magazines and 1 big red maple leaf decal in order to boost the economy.

It'll be great for me as a GM as well; I don't want to be unfair and accidently fire 25 shots from a 15 shot clip into my players, either.

We've done a good job of keeping track, to be fair, but this sounds like it'll make life so much easier.

I'll take the Decal, but I'd rather a Para-Ord P14-45 with a handful of mags. I can't sight down a rifle properly due to eye problems.

Or, better yet, reopen some of the old rifle factories, and start producing SMLEs again. I mean, they're still being used by some Canadian Armed Forces! (The Arctic Circle Troops, BTW. They like a reliable rifle, and the ability to outshoot people that have assault rifles.). And you have rifles that have been proven to work in Afganistan!

I'm also a fan of this idea... If anyone locates a place to get hand tally counters for a decent price let me know. Right now I'm just searching around on ebay.

But if Canadians were allowed to own decent guns they might rise up and overthrow Queen Elizabeth II.

By the way, it's recommended you put the decal on the rifle stock, since the barrel might get kind of hot and mess with the glue.

On the hand counter front:
Found a couple places that'll let them go for between 8-20 dollars. But I'm still looking for some place that doesn't sell a counter that's rated for 2 billion clicks or something.

If I'm off this weeked I might hunt around town and in a few open air markets. You never know.

Poker chips are perfect for mixed magazines though, a few of my players finally caught on to bag of awesomeness that is the ammo skip feature.

You could just make a magazine that uses d6s with a variable rate crank so it deposits the right number of dice on the table. It could even be made from legos.
