Yep. Both of them.
Xahn Borealis
That Binky thing is obscene. biggrin.gif Can't find Van, link?
Stahlseele
Oh god, it's Bubba the Love Troll . .

Here is Van
Yes, that's a license plate on his chest, why?
Xahn Borealis
I like how Squinky's metahumans aren't all that different from humans, that's how I see it too.
Stahlseele
The main difference SHOULD be Size for Dwarves and Trolls compared to baseline Humans. And that's kinda hard to do, if you're doing character pictures of single Characters without any means of comparsion in the picture itself.
But take a look at the Bubba the love Troll picture . . i dare you . . did you even notice the little Human in his hand?
Xahn Borealis
I always saw metahumans as humans, but taller or tuskier. That's it. No bulging muscles or deformed faces.

Where do you think he came from?
Stahlseele
Some discussion on dumpshock regarding rednecks and prisons i think . .

The latent homoerotic culture of the internet?
Xahn Borealis
Is it worth posting a description of the characters I want?
Stahlseele
*shrugs*
try it.

Nope, never tried, he did two pieces for me and i would not want to deprive other people of that ^^

He did one for me as well, which was awesome.

A drake, I'm guessing?

Bingo.
That particular character never got an opportunity to transform, simply because the disadvantages for doing so outweighed the benefits. My next drake was much more favorable to it.

...I thought his "partner" was an elf as he has pointy ears.
Kyoto Kid
...a couple standouts he did for me.

Violet B.

Rosie the Cyber Riveter

Col. Katyana Markova

...and my little sweetie...

Leela
CanRay
Leela is such a cutie!

Well, since we are keeping this thread alive by trumpeting our fave Squinky character drawings, here is my guy in the 800 BP thread:

Uncle Zola

Voodoo magician, follower of Damballa, seeker of Secrets.

...until you got on her bad side.

A charming (CHA 6) kid genius (INT10), extremely proficient in Demolitions, with a task pool, the appropriate supportive knowledge skills (all augmented by Mnemonic Enhancement 3 as well), and is a combat tested veteran who just happens to have the outlook and attitude of your typical 12 - 13-year-old girl can make one's day very unpleasant if she wanted to.

...that's why she was so much fun to play.
Xahn Borealis
Task pool? I thought that was out of SR4?

Tells you how long KK has been playing.
Xahn Borealis
Messaged Squinky on dA, and, alas, nowt. What do?
Squinky
Sorry Xahn, I've been busy and mostly not using my time efficiently lately. I saw your post on DA, and intended to reply. I just put it off. Sorry.

I need to catch up on some things that I have been taking way too long to catch up. I could tell you now that I will do your image, but then I would have to add you to the list of folks that have been waiting way too long.

Canray is owed a Fallout styled picture I have promised for about a year it seems smile.gif

I fully intend to start this up again though, hopefully soon.

That's OK. I've been working on that fiction for a year as well. nyahnyah.gif On the inward stretch, however. Some major revelations in the next chapter, I think.
Squinky
I really need to catch up on your fiction. Especially since I got so into Fallout recently, I'll probably catch some things I missed before.

I try to cram in a lot. So probably.

You can never have enough Fallout reference.
CanRay
Which, in turn, references other things. It's the circle of nerdishness!

I throw a lot into the stories I've written. Some folks who know Fallout 3 well have gone, "So that's what happened to him!" to me...
Xahn Borealis
I've never played any of the Fallouts (yes, I know I need to), is there anything I wouldn't understand from the fanfic? I do know about the post-apocalyptic bit.

There are a lot of in-jokes and subtle references you might not get, but other than that... It's 1950s retro-style for a lot of things, especially computers (They all are huge systems that use vacuum tubes! The Pip-Boy 3000 on the protagonist's arm uses really, really, REALLY small ones.).

I've had people translate the story in their head from English into their native tongue, never played any of the games, and still love the story.

Well, give my story a read and see what you think (There are, however, some spoilers.). Fallout 3 should be pretty easy to pick up used if you have a console. If you prefer PC, it's $30 on Steam for the Game Of The Year Edition, which has all the DLC.

The original two Fallout games (And a tactical game that's sorta-kinda affiliated with it) is $20 on steam for the whole set.
Xahn Borealis
I have all the old fallout games, but my laptop is borked, indefinitely. I'll look into Fallout 3 and your fanfic when I have the time. frown.gif
CanRay
OK, we've derailed this thread long enough, let's get back to browbeating Squinky into doing more Shadowrun art. nyahnyah.gif

It's just as well, the image I wanted has since turned into five. Just let me know when you're overwhelmed with free time, and I'll overwhelm you with image requests.

In the interests of impatience, how long is said list?
Stahlseele
Having read this thread?
It'd guess between 20 and 40 at least.

Squnky,

Being brand new to the dumpshock forums I saw this thread and would love to get my character done. His name is Oni and he's a shadowrunner in a Seattle campaign I've been playing.

"Oni is a 5'9 skinny elf that has short dark red hair and green eyes. As a Mage and a Shadowrunner he tends to wear a traditional Oni style mask to hide his face. He will usually be found in comfrtable clothes or bike leathers when he is out on a job. Usually can be found with a pistol on his person, somewhere hidden usually. No other distinct markings or other things mark him. Keep a low profile and blast them in the face if they question you."

Thanks in Advance.

Try this thread. That's where his focus is at the moment.
