Not true at all. People still loose their bloody minds from the least little things. Think about the Superbowl a couple years back. A nipple gets shown and the sponsors file law suits, the singers get bashed continually for weeks, in general, a hysterical puritanical reaction. Brittany Spears gets a few crotch shots getting out of her limo and again, you'd think she was being blamed for single handedly causing the fall of western civilization.
Very many people, especially in the US, but far from only there, are just coocoo about anything that smacks even lightly of sexuality. They're going nuts in England right now about a naked picture of a little girl that was on the cover of an art mag. So the US isn't alone. But you know, you can't pass a single street with billboards on it here in Vienna where there isn't some topless or bottomless girl or muscle stud, or both, posing and/or frolicking. You don't even notice it except to note that she or he looks damned good or that the ad looks tasteful or unappealing or whatever.
