So... Data Search 3 + Browse 6 + Neocortical 3 + 1 PuSHeD for 13 dice, I believe. Do Neocortical and PuSHeD work? Logic isn't used in the test, but Data Search is a Logic Linked skill- I allow it in my games, but I'm not sure if it's right.

EDIT: I'm just going to post my intentions and the roll in the IC thread, if I need to change the dice amount I'll edit later in the interest of keeping things moving. I'll be unavailable most of tomorrow and Monday, so I would like to get to the next phase instead of stalling things again.

The exact dice is not too critical for this particular test. If it comes up for something more important later, we'll take acloser look at the dice. No worries.

At least that is what Haven tells Claymore, OOC it was 1AM in the morning, I had been up since about 6AM, quizzed my girlfriend on microbiology, driven 3 hours home, played Gears of War 2 for about 4 hours, played DnD for about 4 hours, and I was exhausted and totally forgot Haven wasn't supposed to be mentioning you. I'm not worried about it. If I really had a problem, I would bring it up in this thread. I just figure that, as in real life, some things don't quite go as planned, and so I have no problem having Claymore react IC to things like this.

Not to be a dick, but ...

With this type of game format, I usually wait for the other (or appropriate) person to post without assuming the passage of time. People don't always get the chance to get online whenever they like, and even when they do, might not be able to find the chunk of time needed to craft an in-character response. A 'prompting post' such as the one just posted in the IC would be better served in the OOC thread, at least in my opinion.

I am not quite sure if I should respond IC, or not.

Note: I didn't see SinN's latest IC entry before making the above post.

As a note: No harm, no foul. I considered removing my somewhat bitchy post concerning DTF above, but decided against it. I stand by what I said ... after all, we waited for him.

Yeah, I considered not doing it, but I didn't want us to fall into a lag and wait for Fist to get moved since we were together, and frankly the idea for the post amused me too much. If it bothered you, I'm sorry, I was afraid it might, but I took a chance. I know you waited on me, and I appreciate it. If no one had responded to it after a little while I was going to move it into another post involving Haven hopping up, saying he'll be watching through the cameras, but he had a sudden craving for something and going upstairs to cook a soysteak and seasoned fries in the kitchen he has upstairs.

Nah, it didn't bother me so much. I was just concerned that SinN would feel rushed and / or cheated out of his spot(light). Not a big deal, as it turned out.

Incidentally, I was going to post yesterday with basically a non-verbal response to your security system rant, but then decided against it.

Incidentally, I figure I had better warn you all now. My computer is dying as we speak (it wouldn't turn on for 6 hours today). I am not in a position to get a new one till the middle of December or so, so if I disappear suddenly, now you know why. I'm hoping (but not holding my breath) that the damn thing will last until then though. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

That's kind of coincidental, actually, mine is having severe RAM and video card issues. I'm hoping that upgrading/replacing the RAM will fix the problem, but my video card may be dying on top of the fact that I'm running Windows XP Service Pack 3 with 1 functional 512 stick of RAM and 1 that only like half-ass works. So, I've been having a lot of problems as well. Sometimes when I post, if I have much running in the background I type and then the text appears like 5 or 10 seconds later.
