Sir_Psycho
A middle aged Wuxing wageslave named Lee is prone to BTL abuse and is arrested by the Star one night for rowdy behaviour. When his best friend comes to pick him up from the police station, Lee is abducted. Lee finds himself locked in a room with no windows and a locked door, where they feed him the same felafel rolls every day. To prevent him going mad, his captors leave a trid set in his room and use manipulation spells and ASIST reprogramming on him. He watches a lot of trideo, and trains his body, realising that he is a physical adept with strong close combat abilities and ability to store all the information he absorbs from the trideo. After 15 years he is let out of the room, given an actioneer business suit and a commlink full of nuyen. He is tasked with tracking down the man who ordered his capture and framed him for the murder of his wife, to find out why.

An elderly Elf widow living in the Salish-Sidhe Council area can no longer drive. Her son insists she allow him to hire a driver, which in the 2050s meant an Orc. She resists any change in her life but, Grim, the driver is hired by her son. She refuses to allow him to drive her anywhere at first, but Grim slowly wins her over with his native good graces. It covers over twenty years of the pair's life together as they slowly build a relationship that transcends their meta-human differences.

A young and lowly wageslave falls in love with a his almost as lowly line manager, a girl of startling beauty. Determined to make something of himself to provide her with a better life, he leaves for another corporation where there are many ground level opportunities. Tragically, he is killed en route and when word arrives to his fianceé, she plunges into a deep despair. However, in the meantime, the powerful and evil CEO of the corp has noticed the beautiful girl working in his company and decides to marry her himself. This makes him very popular with the rank and file across the company and wedding plans proceed. But just a month before the wedding, the bride to be is kidnapped by three runners - a troll, a sword-wielding physical adept (with a weapon focus made by his father) and a dwarf with a cerebral booster. They plan to kill her, framing a rival corp for the deed, but are pursued and foiled by a mysterious man.

I will stop there as I think it should already be easy. But suffice to say that the rest of the story contains a jewish hermetic magician with a novacoke Jazz addiction (the drug, not the music), some very terrifying Devil Rats and numerous revelations.

I am seriously tempted to run this for my players and see if any of them catch on. The only thing that stops me is the risk to life and limb if they catch on. ; ) : )

Princess Bride ?
ravensmuse
Inconceivable!

Two physads from an underground religious magical tradition are requisitioned to "negotiate" with a AA size corp currently trying to strong-arm a smaller competitor and its young female CEO. They barely escape one death trap before ending up in the middle of the corp's private army, sent out to bring an forceful end to things, with them the winner. The pair rescue the CEO (and one dummy of a BTL addict) and escape once again, though soon the private jet they escape in is forced to land in the desert for repairs.

While there they meet a young dronomancer...

I'll stop there as it's too easy smile.gif
knasser

Yes, you're all three correct - the Princess Bride. Though I'll point out to Ravor that the miracle pill only works if someone is mostly dead and if my players realised what I was doing, I don't think they'd be that merciful. wink.gif

Ah why not, I'm going to do it.

@ravenmuse: I'm ashamed to be able to guess it, but I would have to put that down as the formerly atrocious Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

Hey, nothing wrong with liking the Prequels.

If anything, they gave us the Tartakovsky Clone Wars and the current Clone Wars biggrin.gif

A small town is blocking the development of a new railway so the CEO of the megacorp in charge of the project hires a orc as the town new sheriff hoping the town folk will move rather then have a Orc in charge of the law. With the help of a gunslinger adept the Orc uses his charm and wit to win the town folk over and leads them against the Corps goons in a battle so wild it spills out of the game and into another RPG.

Chairman of the Board is stared down by the CEO and the CEO stampedes the Board into starting a corp war with one of their rivals.

The war goes smoothly for the CEO. His rival desperately tries to salvage as much of his company's assets as he can, but his forces are being decimated. His managers manage to save as much of their company's human resources as they can but they lose much of their market share and is left with only a core group of security men.

In desperation he sends his best Johnson to propose an alliance with a third faction. The Johnson is successful in securing a strategic alliance. Now they prepare to face the massive marketing onslaught.
