I'm thinking about creating a technomancer to test how workable they are...they're certainly an overall inferior choice to hackers, but I think they'd be really interesting in a story-oriented game.

Limited mental stats can help under the BP system. Take a Charisma or Intuition-based stream, and softmax that attribute. Keep all other mental attributes at 2-3.
