As far as the rules are concerned, the sensors did not detect it. Since the only sensor is a camera, it quite obviously was not pointed the right way.

When I asked about the Arsenal errata....
Synner has stated that the sensor ratings for things w/o it (cameras, mics, etc.) will be addressed in upcoming BBB book errata.
He also stated that upgrades eating up sensor package capacity (adding low-light or infra etc...) will also be addressed.
In any case for RAW purposes, I think the improved sensor array mod will become more important. (remember all drones have a min of 4 mod spaces... I missed that first time around and thought things were limited to BOD mods... when it's BOD mods, min 4). Granted that can make for some extremely expensive 'expendable' micro-drones.
Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised to see something akin to cybereyes/ears... with a 1 space, 2 space, 3 space camera and mic and the vision enhancement mod relegated to the sensor rating instead of being seperate for sensor packages.

Yes. What we don't know, is that if the different ratings of sensors will take up increased capacities in in the sensor table. I.E. we don't know if a rating 6 and rating 1 camera will remain at 1 capacity, or if there will be a change. Which is why we'll just have to wait and see what it ends up as.
