JAG
The errata states
p. 245: Skill Improvement Cost Table [3]
Less than or equal to Attribute Rating 0.5
Less than or equal to (2 x Attribute Rating) 1
More than (2 x Attribute Rating) 1.5

Im currently working from what I believe is a first print (it is FASA labelled)

does this now mean all the variable increase costs for skills/knowledges and specialisations have been dumped and all skills increases regardless cost the same?

Negative, the errata is for the 2nd printing and before. Therefore, for all printings after 3rd, it is irrelevant.

Having a very tattered Third Printing that matchs the specialization table. I think Specialization was left out of the errata heading.

These things aren't perfect. They still don't have the TN for the availibility of Offensive or Defensive Grenades after what 12 printings? wink.gif

The errata needs an errata

I'm sure that there will be 10 or 20 more before 4th edition comes out. wink.gif

JAG, FASA made many printings. You'll find the printing number on page 5, right column, about 3 inches from the bottom, just above the trademark notices. As others have said, that correction is already in the third printing and all later printings.

The correction is ONLY to the "Knowledge/Language" column for "Specializations", which were published in first/second printings with the following numbers: .5, 1.5, 2.5

Here's the whole entry:

*Page 245 - Skill Improvement Cost Table
The cost for Knowledge/ Language Specializations should read as follows:
Less than or equal to Attribute Rating .5
Less than or equal to (2 x Attribute Rating) 1
More than (2 x Attribute Rating) 1.5
