Hank is a Biker. Capital B. Its all he lives for. Being born in the barrens allergic to almost all the food that you can get means there isnt a whole lot going for you to start with, and its something of a miracle that he survived infancy with his intolerance of soy. Course, once he got old enough a steady diet of rats and roadkill kept him fit, and krill isnt so bad. When he was growing up, Biker gangs were the flashiest thing around, and he just had to get his hands on one of those powerful machines. Since the only way he could actually get his hands on one was to join a gang, this is naturally what he did. And biker gangs were so much more mobile aswell! He found he could go anywhere he wanted once he had his ride, provided he could outrun the Star once they ventured into the more "prosperous" areas. Pissed off at the lack of proper freedom that the star enforce, he has become disillusioned with life in general, and saw the futility of the constant feuding of the biker gangs as boring, so many of them were just corp-brats coming down to play in the dirt from his point of view. Now he just wants to bring down the system in order to bring about true freedom, and have as much fun as possible doing it.

Johnny grew up in one of the nicer areas of the Barrens, if you can call anywhere in the Barrens nice. He grew up in Little Dublin, the Irish enclave that just refused to leave when things went bad. He's on Finnish and Irish descent, and fiercly proud of both of them, but life wasn't all tea and roses. When you grow up in Redmond, you see blood early, and you know what it's like to miss a meal.

Still, he did well by himself, kept out of the drugs and the gangs, and only dabbled in a little vandalism over his youth. He was a tagger, first in the real with a can of spraypaint and a set made of brass as his weapons, and later in the Virtual when he took up with the Anarcists and began learning some skills. He was bold, too, tagging places people wouldn't dare to go, and leaving his mark. His first arrest came after he laid a full tag on a Lone Star Citymaster parked outside of a coffee shop. He'd seen how the system worked, and he got vocal.

Johnny got together with a few of his friends, and they formed a punk band called Redmond Burning. They started with local drek-shows, playing for the hell of it more often than not. But there was something about Johnny that inspired people, got them charged. It sure as frag wasn't talent, but when does talent matter when you've got passion? Soon enough they were out of the bottle throwing bars, and into real clubs. Their fan base was growing out of the Barrens, and they were set to play one big show. They were set to play Park, with a crowd of a thousand on hand. From the opening cry of "I'd be straight edge, but I love getting drunk too much" the place was a roar, and he was living high off the energy.

Then the Star showed up.

In true punk fashion, no one had bothered with permits or planning. The establishment be damned. And this being out of the Barrens, in a real honest to the Ghost residential neighborhood, well someone got mad and called the police. As soon as he say, them, Johnny turned to his boys and called for their anti-cop favorite "Fuzzsaw." The reaction was everything a good anarchist could hope for. The first brick thrown struck true, and from there it was a madhouse, with Redmond Burning playing through it all. At least until the crowd and the cops decided to use the stage as a battleground. Even then, amongst the press and throng, he kept on singing. Right until the club hit the back of his skull.

That was five years ago.

Two weeks ago he walked out of prison a changed man. He's still full of youthful energy, but it's now stoked with revolutionary fire. All he knows is, something's gonna burn...

The spirit Ally Ragnhild split in to the free spirits Agmundr and Unwin on its masters death. Unwin the weaker spirit was Ragnhild manipulative side where as Agmundr was the more dominate aggressive side. Agmundr vowed to recoup a payment of blood for its former master upon there master where as Unwin inheriting part of there masters more anarchistic side planed to carry his masters work. He hung a round a few punk gigs gaining a taste for music with out sim-sense feeds (witch he couldn't experience any way). He spent most of this time just overhearing snippets of conversation to try and piece together an idea of the world. Not grasping much.

Doctor Jenkins is a close friend, we both worked at the same hospital together for years till I lost everything.

Johnny Sandheim hadn't been a free man more than ten minutes when some kid had handed him and gun and a commlink, took off his cap all respectful-like, and told him there was a car waiting for him. They'd found him a place to stay, and got together some money for him, he had friends still, people who remembered him. These were all important things to have when you've been locked away for five years.

He didn't know the kid, but the kid sure knew him. After rotting away in a cell in virtual obscurity he still had a fan base. It was invigorating. So he'd followed the kid he didn't know to a car with four other kids he didn't know, and he was headed back to the Barrens. He was headed home. The ride back was muted, spent letting his senses re-adjust to the real world. Prison was insular, with a limited exposure to anything beyond concrete and plasteel, sweat and man-ass. He'd managed to score a deal data crunching, which had expanded his wireless access time by a few hours a day, but there was only so much you could do from a prison-issue commlink. Only so much he could do until a certain friend of his in the virtual had inserted a backdoor into the UCAS Department of Correction's hosts, giving Johnny a greater window back into the world, albeit one he had to be careful to safeguard. Still, you stay inside long enough and everything becomes different shades of dull. You forget how good food can taste, even if it's soy. You begin to think it's normal to have to shower inside of a minute while guarding your junk. You begin to enjoy the taste of recycled air.

The drive is like waking up from a coma, and seeing the world through fresh new implant-eyes.

They'd found him a place in north Redmond. A party-prone flat on the second story of a five story tenement. He'd arrived to a fete in his honor in full swing, and been handed a beer, and then handed off to a pair of bubbly young ladies. He went through them quick, and told them to bring friends next time. Then he'd got drunk. Ragingly drunk.

It was the first time in five years he managed to wake up without someone else calling for him, some alarm, or a shock of terror running up his spine. He slept better than the dead, better than an infant. He slept like a zombie baby. But as he woke he looked around himself and all he could see was cobbled together furnishings and broken down appliances; people splayed out all over the place, drunk and high; a window too caked in smog to see the streets beyond. Nothing had changed in five years, he'd just grown more aware. Nothing had changed, and that was the problem.

Rolling off of the sofa, he picks his way over the heaps of party-crashed bodies, and makes his way to have the first shower he's had in a long time where he doesn't need to worry about being joined by a hairy troll. Instead one of the girls from the night before stumbles in bleary eyed.

Thoughts of making the world get put on hold, at least for a half hour or so.
