You won't be disappointed. It's a gorgeous book just to look at (I love the art), and there are a lot of little "clarification" things that were put in all over the place, fixed and much more reasonable archetypes, a nice buff of all the sample opponents in the Friends and Foes section, along with having all previous errata included. I read the entire thing almost 3 complete times while I was proofing it and enjoyed it each time. I'm looking forward to my print copy with much anticipation.
I broke down and ordered the combo. The new cover are is a return to the 1st ed cover, and that was my favorite piece of art in the whole game, then or since. I have tripped across a lot of little things, but the biggest one was that there apperars to no longer be a limit on the number of points you can spend on Qualities. That was always how I viewed it, since if you want to give the GM that many things to bludgeon you about the head and shoulders with, that's YOUR problem, and anything else takes AWAY from skills, stats and gear. I found the cite you mention, then went back and re-read Unwired, and they ARE actually changing how they handled that. (My memory was not in error, they just changed their minds.) Thanks for the final shove into buying the slotting thing. Now the rest of the group wants it.
