Most Travolta-Movies lend themselves just fine to shadowrun.
Now I will admit that I haven't seen all Travolta films, the ones that I have seen that would translate to Shadowrun is significantly lower than those that would.
Swordfish - Yes
Grease - No
Pulp Fiction - Yes
Saturday Night Fever - No
Wild Hogs - No
Hairspray - No
Ladder 49 - Maybe
Michael - No
Look Who's Talking Now - No
Of course, if you could translate Hairspray, Michael, or Grease into a Shadowrun, I would be damned impressed.
I would say the GI Joe movie doesn't necessarily translate into most Shadowrun plots, it's way too far invested in milspec, I believe it is a good indicator on how training and technology would improve into the future. A powered suit that augments the users ability? Literally a chameleon cloak in the movie....
As for movies in my personal collection that I can think of that I think could be adapted to either the Shadowrun environment, or as plot hooks...
Bladerunner
Dark Knight
The Boondock Saints
Dr. Strangelove
Swordfish
The Matrix
The Nightmare Before Christmas (Could be really fun depending on how you twist it)
