The offer as it stands.
Per-Diem is up front so 2,000 nuyen up front. And then every subsequent day, you have 3,000 nuyen deposited into your account, with a 60,000 split nuyen bonus if you recover the artifact that she is looking for. (Since there are four people at the table right now, it would be split 4 ways, to about 15,000 nuyen each). She is covering, travel and board expenses. This is all subject to negotiation of course.
Peter:
In character you are Hodder.
Out of character you shall hence forth be called "Belloq"

Thus.
Spoiler for Belloq.[ Spoiler ]
-Ms. Johnson is a mundane with no cyberware or bioware. She is not a technomancer. Her current state is relaxed and friendly.
-Samriel - You've never heard of the name.

Oh, darn, was hoping for 15k up front

So I'm confused, what is the difference between the 400 per-diem and the 3,000 per day?
Edit: Also I thought it would be a five way split because it seemed like she had indicated herself as being one of the people who got part of the finder's fee (Which admittedly seemed weird that she would want such a small amount considering how much she is paying us)

Oct 3 2009, 02:35 PM
Hey Karoline.
The Per-Diem is an amount you will receive at the beginning of the day, and then then around Dusk you would get the rest of the money. So in this case 400 during Soykaf time, and then the other 2,600 when you are injecting the VITAS immunizations, consuming boozes, and injecting your narcotics.
-And for clarity. The upfront per-diem money is not taking out of the share of the first five days. So each of you will still be getting 3,000 nuyen a day.
The 60,000 is to split amongst the PCs.
Edited some of the descriptions for Samriel. Here is the official description of Samriel according to Ms. Johnson.QUOTE
He is a tall elf with close cropped grey hair. His eyes are the color of a metallic silver. His eyes are oval shaped like almonds, and his ears stretch out fair horizontally. He has a heavily-muscled physique and is slightly under 6 feet or 1.8 meters.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Lots of other forums have that option, and it is very annoying that this one doesn't, though I suppose it is possible that you could copy your post into a notepad quick and refresh the thread before you post, but that is a bit of a pain.

Hi guys. I apologize ahead of time. I was reviewing my notes this morning and discovered that I had originally planned to change the amount of nuyen Ms. Johnson offers all of you. She has presented you with new terms as of post #13.
Originally I did not like the payment plan she presented the runners and neither did my pencil and paper group when we ran this mission. Last night I was somewhat tired, and I forgot that I had originally planned to change the payment to a fixed rate.

[ Spoiler ]
You notice the guard is armed, and somewhat displeased at the fact that most of you are here. Mrs. Johnson is unarmed. You expect that her suit is armored in some fashion.
(Hodder). Closes his eyes for a brief moment upon meeting Ms. Johnson. You also notice he's a dwarf. He has a golden bracelet on his arm and a necklace dangling over around his neck. each have symbols on them.
Vera is an elf. You notice that she is cool, calm, and collected.
Dexter. Is well Dexter. His head is in the shape of a square and he is bulging muscles, that seem unatural. For his size and shape is built like a tank. He has a flat top, large hands, and looks uncomfortable in his attire. (hope that was right Dexter. Trying to remember what the SR II Street Samurai BBB Archetype looks like.)

I think
SincereAgape answered this already, but the (terse) description is in my 20 questions. Repeated here:
4+5.
What do you look like/ dress like? Tall and thin for a dwarf, almost could be a short human. Dark brown hair and eyes. A nice smile. Comfort and practical durability usually win out over latest fashion. Though natural fibres are very expensive, he would prefer one outfit of this material than several of cheaper synthetics.
6.
Any Physical quirks? No. Well, he often seems a little distracted, as if there were a conversation going on that he was listening to.

There is a degree of handsomness to the character. Hodder is someone who would rather talk his way out of a situation then use brute force.

Hmm, reading over some diseases, I think Botulism and Malaria are the two big things we'd need to worry about. Rating 6 inoculations against both would be 600 per person, but getting some standard anti-biotics and such might be a good idea as well. We can see how much Ms. J is willing to cover, then we might want to dip into that 5k signing bonus to get some more just to be safe.
Edit: Also, can we assume that she is paying us the 5k right now? And does today count as day one, or is that tomorrow (ie do we get another 3k?)?

@Belloq. I read your post, concerning your three questions for FAQ#6 of Possessions spirits.
1.) No.
2.) Yes.
3.) Yes. It costs a service to shut off the damage power.
One more thing concerning possession mages. In FAQ#5, I have been reading the Dragon Heart Trilogy by Jak Koke and when Lethe possessed Burnout, no one was able to notice that Burnout was possessed except for the elven mage, Meyer. You may play it like this, thus the only people who are perceiving astrally can see that you are possessed.

Probably wasn't clear enough. In post 112 of this OOC thread I tried my best to explain the payment change. The original offer was based off the written module for verbatum. And the night I wrote the first offer post I forgot that I had changed the payment from the book during the pre-planning phase of the adventure.
In post #13 of the IC thread, Ms. Johnson changed the payment to a fixed plan. Of 15,000 nuyen in total (Per runner), with 5,000 up front. Plus the 60,000 bonus for finding the artifact to be split amongst the group.
This way it is a lot less confusing, and the runners get more upfront.
Sorry for the confusion.

And Hawkeye countered with 3k a day pulse a 5,000 signing bonus with a five day minimum employment time, which Ms. J didn't object to, along with all the other things promised (Meaning the air fare and what all else not).
Also, you make it very unclear as to if the 5000 comes out of the 15000 payment or not because you keep changing what words you use. With the offer that Hawkeye put up, the 5k is a bonus.
Edit: I've been keeping very close tabs on the pay
