"Make that two orders." Sully holds up her hand and nods.

PD answers, "Gin and Tonic."

Trace tosses the armor at the woman's feet.

"I hope you're happy with the job, I am sure you had a great view with your personal cam. Listen and listen closely. I am a professional, as is everyone here. With the exception of you. Don't call me, don't tail me, don't send any of your goons after me. I never met you. Have a nice day."

Trace turns briskly and walks out the way he came in.

:: Crimson raises an eyebrow at Trace's temper tantrum, but otherwise seems unfazed. With a nod to Rumi to go fill everyone's drink order, she throws a casual parting comment to Trace as he stomps out. ::

"That's a shame. Your team did well and I know your rep in the shadows could use something positive on it for a change. The team could have used someone with your experience on the next run. It's hard to find anyone with any knowledge on the Azzies..."

Jack shrugs the longcoat a little higher up on his shoulders, eyes following Trace as he storms out.

He glances over at Sully and the rest of the team, curious to see what their reactions are.

Ember conceals a small smile as Trace leaves.
Half of her wants to leave with him, simply because of her intense dislike and mistrust of Crimson... but as is often the case, her curiosity gets the better of her, and she remains sitting where she is.

Wraith watches Trace and shakes his head slightly. He thinks to himself, Ya know, I've been screwed over by Johnsons before and I gotta say that them keeping an eye on me isn't the most offenisive thing they've ever done.

Sully turns to their host. "Poorly played. If you are as 'all knowing and powerful' as you seem to act then you should have known he'd walk when this all came out." She leans back into her chair. "You're skating on thin ice here, I suggest you start making nice if you don't want to start over from scratch with a new team." Her body language is relaxed and open. "You've already screwed yourself out of a team leader for this 'asset', how much more do you want to lose with the 'goddess' routine?" Her voice is firm and neutral.

There is almost painfully palpable shock written across Ember's face as Sully finishes speaking. She suddenly schools her expression back to that studied nonchalance she is so fond of, but it's an effort.

I thought she was simply a lapdog.. awed as all the rest by Crimson's attempts to impress us. Ember mentally shakes her head. It would appear she had been wrong. With that realization, Ember feels the warm blossoming of a profound respect and... admiration... for her teammate. It is an odd feeling for her, one she rarely feels. One she desperately mistrusts, and yet cannot seem to dislodge.

Jake takes the moment of silence to tip the Stetson a little further back on his head.

"Sully's got a point, ma'am. Trace was a good guy, and ah'd have followed him. Your not going to be able to play your cards so close to your chest if you want our trust and respect."

PD sighs as Trace leaves and makes a mental note to buy him a drink if they ever cross paths, "I can't speak for what happened on the inside for this job, having been the driver in this case, but what ever it was seems to have ruffled a few people's feathers." He crosses his arms, "I'm prepared to continue working for you and your organization, if nothing else, for the curiosity of it .... well, that and the nuyen ..."

Jack coughs, obviously a bit unsettled as he pushes off the wall he's been leaning against.

"I'm sorry ma'am, I just don't think this is going to work. Sorry to all ya'll," and he tips his hat to the group, "and thanks for the opportunity."

He tips the tip of the Stetson to Sully specifically, and strolls out of the door.
