Four BFGs that we see, not counting others that may have been lost in Hell but counting the one that Sarge took from Campbell.
Maybe you've got the only flashlight? There was a screwup big enough to get a shipment of chainsaws to Mars, I'd count not sending flashlights as smaller. stevebugge really is on to something.

But the flashlight in Doom is a Science flashlight, that never needs batteries.

Oh, I think I know where all of the flashlights went. They were used as melee weapons by scientists attempting to survive. The demons got into a habit of playing "grey alien" with the scientists and flashlights before killing them.
