Dunno, really. First Rayo's going to take his beauty sleep. Then he's going to start shadowing (which is btw a really good skill to open right now) some random CrashCart. Seeing where their station is, what's their normal patrol routes, how they act on scene, where some crew members (specially the driver) hang out while not working, etc. Have now three different plans how to do this. First: Big Guns, Big Explosions, Lots of Casualties, Lost of Media Attention (not good one, but no need for brain muscles); second: Enough powerful helicopter/T-bird/other flying thingie with a hooks or very effective magnet, a rigger and a hacker. Or maybe instead of hacker EMP pulse to disable whole crashcart. You do the math. ; and third: A very good looking, but loyal enough face/thief (they don't usually come in same package), who can flirt his way to CrashCart driver and get the keys to the car or something similar to trick a poor bastard.

Give me a bit and I'll get you some answers on that sort of thing. Feel free to roll for general leg work , scouting sources, digging up info, that sort of thing as well. Same goes for contacting other characters if you'd like, or hunting up other shadow talent.

Oh the beautiful spoiler lines.. where was I? RIGHT! The worst part is that Rayo really doesn't have much money and that won't bring him any other people than people who own him favors or people who work for charity. And as I do recall there isn't many who own him anything (except maybe his army buddy, but I doubt he would come to help in this matter) and the latters in the shadows.. well, maybe Santa or Eastern Bunny will respond to his call.
One thing could be, that he could try to phone to his brother and try to ask him sent somebody down to N.O. Owning to local mob some more isn't the thing Rayo really wants right now. I know, one more step into the family, but one more hand grapping his balls. No thanks.

Ya' know, most criminal enterprises don't come with up front pay. That's a pure Mr Johnson thing. "You do this job for me, I'll give you x-cash", because the pay from Mr Johnson is the only thing they get out of it. If a runner team goes for a data grab, they're not going to be the ones getting to keep the data. They give it to Mr J and he gives them a payment that, realistically, is much smaller than what it would be worth in the long run.

So if you were to bring people in on this job, it would be on the understanding that it's a joint effort. Instead of up front pay ,they get a percentage. Especailly with any Family connections. They doon't usually htink "up front pay". That's a runner thing.

Well, again, Rayo isn't getting paid either. He also can't offer a percentage because he's giving away the valkyrie unit. He could give the "get the free cyberware"-card to someone else, but that would be a waste. Also he could sell rest of the crashcart truck and give the percentage of that, but that might be a big pain in the ass. Unless he might find someone interested in that, but who wants to buy a crashcart truck without its Valkyrie unit? Maybe some shadowrunner doing a gig?
Man.. so many moving parts.

The kind of haul you can get from fencing everything within a CrashCart unit would be significant.Yes, you would have to fence it, but that's part of DIY crime, and that's what contacts are for.
As for beta ware, i've always handled at as Alpha ware being more specialized buily cyber, but bbeta and delta is all about the urgeon, their tools, and techniques. So beta installment isn't about getting or more specialized and expensive piece of 'ware, it's about the surgeon. Meaning that you may be able to get more out of him. After all, if he wants a Valkrye unit, he'd probably go for a lot of other stuff in there to.
