So seen a few posts scattered about for mage-hackers or the like that can use nuyen and karma together, but can't find a build.
I was wondering if someone had a specific example of one? Covers all the bases, and has room for growth in both the magic (karma) and the hacking (nuyen).
Or any other similar builds that use the whole dual income of karma/nuyen well?
Anyway, please share and love to see them.

Adept riggers probably make the best use of both. they always want better drones, and their adept powers can make them wicked good at controlling them.

Pretty much all hybrid builds, adept/somethink and mage/somethink use it the most IMO.
But my Sasha(face/weapon specialist) will need a lot of karma and nuyen, as she has lots of skills to max and needs better ware and more weapons.

Honestly, I've never seen any character that doesn't need both.

I agree with Rotbart. I cannot think of a starting character that doesn't need both for a long time.

Even pure(non-cyber/bio, no focused on other aspects like hacking) mages need money. They need a lot of karma but most of my pure mages tend to need to spend a lot of money too.

Yep, Foci are expensive. 100k for a good Power Focus (F4) before any market modifiers. 10k per Force Rating on a Sustaining Focus, and almost every mage is going to need one for Increased Reflexes 30k for the most common Force. Centering Foci, Binding Materials (lots and lots of binding materials).

Plus the other gear - commlink, programs, vehicle, weapon, armor, lifestyle, etc.

I think a Technomancer with pure Matrix Focus needs the least money possible, but it is a real karma hole.
Mages tend to need more karma then money and riggers/hackers with expensive gear tend to need more money than karma.
But in the end, all chars will need both.

The only Character COncept that I can think of that has very little (to No) need for Karma is the Full Jarhead Clonal Brain Cyborg...
the only thing that they need Karma for is to maximize their Mental Stats/Edge, and for Knowledge Skills (which they can just purchase as Knowsofts anyway)... You might even be able to convince the GM you need Karma for the Positive Qualities that you might qualify for... Maybe... But don't hold your breath too much... Oh wait, you don't actually breathe do you?
Otherwise, you need just Cash for advancement...
Every other character I have ever seen really needs both types of resources to advance...

needs and has a use for are different things in my book, really.
A street sam has a use for karma sure, but unless he's getting much more karma than he is cash (say, 1 karma for every 750¥ nuyen he sees) he's going to advance primarily with new cash acquisitions and not with karma - he'll spend the karma on new skills or more edge or better body etc, but his primary advancement is cash driven.
The physad is the reverse: sure he'll buy a tricked out gun or a better vehicle or better armor or maybe some very minor very high grade cyber, but his primary advancement is initiation and magic point increases: both purchased with karma and not cash. While the physad is the classic case, the non-drone techno is probably the most extreme example. (then again, with all that cash lying around why are you a non-drone techno?)
only a few characters really need both to improve meaningfully*: adept/riggers come to mind first, but certain mage hybrids will have notable** cash sinks as well.
*in this case I define need as 'won't improve meaningfully along the character archetype in the absence of either' rather than the first two cases, where the character could continue to improve meaningfully in the absence of karma and cash respectively.
**notable being millions and not hundreds of thousands.
