I have read, re-read and read this over again just making sure i didn't miss anything. I would like to ask and comment on a few things just to make sure I am on the same page.

Athena: I want to be clear about her. She is an NPC and also happens to be a team member (at least at the moment). As such, she will have limited recommendations about strategy. Furthermore, I try to play her to her personality write up and her knowledge skills. She will tend to be indecisive since she is an NPC, always defaulting to the PCs about strategy for a run.
I would expect nothing more or less. As a GM controlled NPC i would feel almost cheated if she lead us around like on a leash.

Pay: You did leave the office without the cred, but I won't be harsh about it. Luck is with you that he was not giving it to you directly anyway. You will understand in my next IC post. Of course, such details in the middle of the run will be a little harder for you to work out.

I feel like a complete shithead for not confirming this before we moved on. I hope that was the plan all along and not a moment of generosity on your part RJ. I sometimes
forget overlook the fact this is play by post and not table top. There are some subtle differences and i promise i am trying to catch up on the lingo, style and system you are using.

So to be clear, I don't like to assume any details. If your character has applicable knowledge skills, I will sometimes prompt for a skill check but I usually default to the player. A great parallel I like to draw is that we are all human (or meta-human). No matter have much of a 'pro' we think we are, we all sometimes forget little things and we all sometimes make unprofessional mistakes.
Forgive me please but i am not sure exactly where this came from. Are you saying that you want the players to automatically make rolls in OOC regarding their actions in IC? If thats the case i will do my best to improvise the situation. Normally i just figured that if you have related skills and are doing mundane tasks that for simplicity sakes you or the players just describe what goes on and *poof* done. I guess for example going from Doc Phins to Stumps...technically a pilot groundgraft could be warranted but i just assume if you have the skill such a task doesn't warrant a roll.
If my IC actions warrant a roll and i don't provide one in OOC please feel free to kick me in the ass. Not trying to make excuses but this system is still a little new for me. I'm a long standing D&D person and haven't played much SR in a long while.

HERE is an example where a player missed a number of subtle hints that things were going wrong and is about to have to deal with a run potentially falling apart.
That said, my job is challenge you and hopefully make it fun for everyone. Always remember this is Shadowrun. My Table-Top team is moving to their 4th city because they tend to forget that. They also have had several team members replaced and burned a number of edge points to stay alive. Bad choices (as well as unlucky ones) can lead to bad consequences. On the flip side, if you stick to the core rules of Shadowrunning, (as is witness by my other pbp games) you will usually do well.
I love that game, infact it was the first one i started following. Then i got hungry for more and started catching up on others.
