So... They want to have their CommCode in the hands of anyone that's scanned their CommLink? Anyone at all? Including the SpamBots? Including the Security Force that caught them and have their CommLink's info now? The Spider that found their CommLinks in Hidden Mode when an unregistered transmission was detected? And so on?

Yeah, looks like the "Obviously, the eraser will preserve any data the character wishes preserved and that is vital for her to function in society." line was overlooked there. But now worries, the best of us slip up sometimes
