If I had to guess, it means that anyone can do a Knockdown called shot, and take a -4 dice pool modifier.

There will be a Martial Arts Manuever you can purchase called Knockdown (or something like that) which will cost Karma, and then you can perform the Knockdown called shot with a lower modifier (-1?-2?)

But like you said, we'll have to wait for the book.

Yeah, does sound like that could be one way to do it, to represent more intensive training in the methods.

Now we need the Martial Arts Splat book - Run Fu nyahnyah.gif

Hmmm... Street Fighter done up as mystads.....

That makes sense. I would have to see how the whole thing is laid out. I am guessing there would be different types of Martial Arts training that provide different types of Called Shot techniques in their portfolio.

Wasn't planning on it... smile.gif
Sadly, the more I see of SR5, the less I like it.

Funny, after playing SR, SR2, and SR3, this is exactly how I felt about SR4. In fact I didn't even buy my first SR4 book until 2009 (I was that miffed about the changes). Although once I played SR4 for a while (several months) I started to like it. I'm giving SR5 a solid chance and I'm looking forward to more splat books.

Of course that's just my opinion. smile.gif

No worries. smile.gif
I have no choice but to play, as my Primary GM is switching over to it (though our Secondary GM says he is staying with SR4A, and if I take up running SR again, I too will stay with SR4A). smile.gif
Does not mean I have to buy it, however.

Having now read through the RG options on the preview I actually really like them all! I'd probably experiment with using all of them together and see how it goes. Looking forward to the book now smile.gif
