bnc herself hops out of the van again to retrieve her medkit. Together they chain the men on the ground, then bnc sedates them.

When all was said and done, the team had to hurry quite a bit to reach the warehouse before midnight.
As you get closer, you notice that the patroling guard does indeed take their hellhound back to the cage on the southside of the building and that gate in the middle of the building is already opening when the tires of the vehicle crunch over the gravel of the yard.

Anna says "I can take them from the astral if they get close, but it would not be subtle. It might be if my mana barrier just knocks all of them on the spot, but it is likely that they'll provide some warning before being knocked out. Do we take them now try to get inside before that? "

bnc noticed how the car came into range of the installed sensor suite. The car was well insulated so would not show their heat signatures outside. The windows were naturally polarized and impervious for outside watchers.
Only the focused radar pulse was probably able to detect the additional passengers - if someone was keeping watch.
It was time to finalize the plan, because bnc could only move so slow without bringing the van to a complete stop...

Anna replies "So, invisibility for us, and spirits to hellhounds?" She paused and said "I am skilled enough to sustain two of these spells without affecting my performance. Anything more is going to take its toll. Who wants to be invisible?"

The car made it's way inside the building. As soon as the car had passed the threshold the garage door began to close again. Only when the door had closed, two people in jump suits moved forward with an empty pallet on a lifting cart.
Four guards had taken a lazy position a bit away, looking more bored than alert, but still watching the two workers. There was no sign of the two other guards or the boss of this outfit.
One worker bumped the van's door three times, clearly indicating that bnc should open up.

Once they were through the wards, Anna cast the invisibility spells, augmenting her intuition to avoid drain before entering a dangerous situation.

The two workers opened the doors and began unloading the heavy boxes, without seeming to notice the three invisible occupants, while the guards looked bored and tired as the - by now probably very familiar - ritual played out before them.

Thanks to her direct neural interfact, Nova could send the team a message without even moving.
<< @team: So, how are we gonna play this? The unloading and re-loading won't take forever. As far as I can see, we got two options. Try to stay undetected for now, sneak out of here, while they are working, and take it from there. That means, we have to split up, since the two in front won't be able to join us right away. Or we just use the element of surprise and get the jump on them. They won't be much resistance, but we will make our presence here known to everyone else inside most likely. >>

bnc slowly eases her out of the driver's seat, nods towards the workers, then walks over to the backdoor. She bends her back before she finally grabs the van door, thus giving the people inside enough time to sneak out and do whatever havoc they plan to.
bnc waits nervously at the front seat, drumming her virtual fingers against a solid piece of virtual wood she loaded for no other reason then to drum her fingers on.

Going from arm to arm, bnc hacks one gun after the other, rendering it unable to fire (unless one were so witful as to try to actively reboot the gun in troubleshooting mode whilst pointin it at their enemy). When she arrives at number 9, however, she stupidly misses to fool a routine check, and gets caught. Damn! What was that? Oh, frag!
She, first thing, warns her team. "Go now, they're aware of us now!"

If bnc put an ARO over the guard she couldn't hack Sharkboy shoots at that one, otherwise he would just shoot whichever guard was looking his way.

Not directly (otherwise, I would have had to perform to Tag action, which I didn't.
But bnc provides, as usual, an ARO map in which she displays important information, like which faction they belong to (different colors), whether they're taken out (fading out) or whether they are rank-and-file soldiers or elite soldiers (different icons). Those whose arms are disabled, are marked as such. So you know 8 of the guards with their guns out. You don't, however, know exactly which one she tried next, though Jack might allow you to derive it from the pattern she followed.
EDIT: Looking at the map, there are only 6 guards close by, so she has taken out those you can attack already. Lucky number 9 must be in a different room anyway.

Sharkboy's arrow became visible just a fraction of a second before it hit home and knocked over the first guard. After that, the battle began:
With the reflexes born from supra conductors and chrome, the guards became alert to the intruders and immediately started to move so they could evade being attacked too, while they oriented themselves. Their gazes homed in on the imperfections of Anna's veil and they all began to raise their rifles.

As the shots started flying, Wraith reached out for the telepathic connection to his spirit that he had earlier commanded to stay hidden until the fight would start.
Now we strike! Start with the threats outside.He straightened up and with a flick of his hand, he gently grabbed the crucifix on his wraistband.

Anna attempted multitasking and sent her spirit to aid Wraith's, she moved a few meters and then fired again. Hoping to have her veil of invisibility - as well as Rothanium polymer and thermal dumping, protect her for what was to come. The shot hit true, but it was not very effective, and the guard was far from disabled. She noticed however that Nova and the Shark had better luck, and was happy that they were around.

All but Anna's guard succumbed to rapid shots of taser darts and arrows.
The one Anna had wounded seemed to have a moment of clarity because he suddenly drew his sidearm and fired at her.
Meanwhile the death cries of the hellhounds grew louder as the spirits outside tore into the caged animals.

As searching for the decker proved to be futile, bnc changed her tactic. She picks the guard who she thinks most threatening, and with a buzz and a fizzle, his gun turns into a heap of molten nonsense.

Anna feels punch as the bullet scratches her ballistic fabric, luckily for her without penetrating. Without losing her composure, and with a surge of adrenaline for the close call she lobes a well-aimed shot at the guard's chest sending him back.

The sickening sound of breaking cartilage was droned out by the long scream of the guard, whose knee now bent backwards.
In fact it was so loud, that the team nearly didn't hear the steps of the oncoming reinforcements.

The team had barely time to change position when a man appeared in the doorway to the office. He was wearing a well tailored suit and had donned some kind of ballistic mask while also wielding a genuine Ares Alpha.
There was barely any delay between him appearing, using the doorframe as cover, and opening up with a long, controlled salvo from his rifle, aimed at Anna.
