Full Version: Quick Question: Astral Initiative
Dumpshock Forums > Discussion > Shadowrun

Is there any situation in which a Magician's Astral Initiative and/or Astral Initiative Passes can be increased or modified in some way? (Apart from upgrading Intuition.)
chinagreenelvis
Also: a Technomancer's Resonance?

Oh, and is there anything that can augment a Matrix Condition Monitor?

Out of curiosity, are you familiar with the edit button?

As a physical spell, the Increase Reflexes spell isn't able to target astral forms. However, you might be able to convince your GM to let you make a mana version of it.

Buy Resonance points with Karma. It works just like Magic.

Improve your system. Buying a better one or upgrading your current one can get you up to System 6. Letting an AI live in your commlink can get you higher.

Thanks for the reply.

What is the highest possible System rating using an AI? Just trying to figure out the highest number of Matrix Condition Monitor boxes possible.

Half of the AI's Logic attribute (rounded up) is added to the System of its home node. With Exceptional Attribute, an AI (following the player character AI rules, at least) can get Logic 7, thereby adding +4 to System, for a total of System 10.
